They're closed to the public and currently housing CM's on one of the work programs. (International I think)

I've read that they were completely destroyed to make room for the new DVC Saratoga Springs Resort.

Nope--the TOWNHOUSES were destroyed. The treehouse Villas, Fairway Villas, and I think bunglaows are all still standing.

The Townhouses and Bungalows have all been destroyed. The Fairway Villas are being housed by College Program CM's, and the Treehouse villas are empty. I've heard that the treehouse villas will become part of the Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa (possibly for cash guests).
