Let me explain a little. Our check-in day is May 15th. Just upgraded my QSDP to DDP today. Had no intention on regular dining plan but I snagged a CRT ressie today. :cheer2: It caught me off guard but I was so excited I took it. It made sense to upgrade since we now have these reservations:

Chef Mickeys (1TS)
Donalds Safari (1TS)
Cinderellas Royal Table (2TS)

This leads me to needing one more restaurant. We are staying seven nights but only five on DDP and 2 nights are room only. It is our first day there and we will be going to DTD first and maybe MK later that evening. I don't know anything about any of these but here are some of my choices:

Raglan Road in DTD
Shutters in CBR
Cap'n Jack's in DTD
Planet Hollywood in DTD

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has other suggestions that would be great too. Thanks in advance.

My choice would be Raglan Road! I did not like Shutters at CBR when we stayed there last year.

I know it's not on your list, but I've heard wonderfull things about O'hana. You could go to the Polynesian from DTD and then grab the monorail after you eat. It's definately on my list to try.

And also 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian. It's close to MK too. That's also on my list.

If your DTD, then I would suggest Wolfpuck Cafe,If your in the Magic Kingdom area then maybe Ohana,Kona,1900 Park Fare or Crystal Palace

planet hollywood has decent food, but you wont be able to get in a decent conversation b/c it is SO LOUD! I've heard very good things about raglan road, although ive never been, and i've heard alot of not-so-good things about cap'n jacks. I'm also going to suggest trying a restaurant near mk if that is where you will be that night...OR if you are going to do DTD, I've heard raves about T-rex. I've had Wolfgang Puck express and we really liked it.

I see you are from PA and also that you have 2 little ones. My first piece of advice would be - don't try to squeeze too much into arrival day. No matter how you get there, everyone will be tired from traveling and you have probably been up VERY EARLY.
I would not try to go to DTD followed by the MK. You want to get a good nights sleeep and be rested for the rest of your vacation.
That said, we love Raglan Road in DTD. It is a beautiful restaurant and we loved the food. Cap'n Jack's gets terrible reviews and we are not impressed with the current menu.
If you are in the MK area, 'OHana is fun for little ones. It is all you care to eat and very good food. The Poly is beautiful and it is nice to see.
Good Luck with your decision.
