Help......Need some info.....

OK, guys, I need your help on something that is not really DVC related, but posted this question on the theme park board and got NO answers, and thought, well, surely my DVC family won't let me down, and they all know more about Disney than most other people anyway! We usually go in late July or August, but are thinking of changing this year, and going in late June, or July. What I want to know is what kind of special events are happening for 4th of July? Is there a special parade, special fireworks? From other posts I've read, it sounds like it's very crowded, but are there any neat things happening that would make it worth while to bear with the extra people? Also, if there is a "celebration", is it just for the 4th, or are there several days, or a week of celebrating? Thanks for your time and any help you can give me--all 3 kids(grownup kids included) are anxiously waiting to hear!
