I have my itinerary all done and just realized the day I plan to go MGM is also an evening EMH night there.

So now, I am trying to figure out if I should change my plans and go to another park during that day and then MGM at night for the EMH.

1. How is evening EMH at MGM? :confused3

2. Will MGM be more crowded during the day because of the EMH? :confused3

3. Should I skip MGM all together that day and try for lower crowds the next day after the EMH since everyone was there the night before? :confused3

4. I'll be there early May...a slower time...is it even worth changing my whole itinerary around? :confused3

I've never done an evening EMH, but I hear they can be insanely crowded, is this just mainly at MK though or at all the parks?

Sometimes EMH is busy, sometimes not.

Don't sweat it.

Don't change anything.

If you're an on-site guest, stay for the EMH.

If it gets crowded, either stand in longer lines, or RELAX and enjoy just being there, or leave and do something else.

If its NOT crowded, then you're all set for some extra FUN!

1. Crowded!
2. Yes!
3. Sounds like a good idea to me.
4. Probably so.

This is my personal experience. Your mileage may vary.

All the parks, in my experience. It's really too bad. All I can say is BRING BACK ERIDE!

We went to EMH evening last November in MGM and it was mobbed!!! We were just interested in riding RNR and TOT. We were able to do that but it was so crowded. The same was true when we did the evening EMH at Epcot. We have not tried MK or AK but I am sure it would be the same.

My biggest issue with MGM EMH is there really isn't that much open. Leaving what is open to get pretty filled up. DH and his friend went one night (after the mom's put the kids to bed) and they walked on RR and TT twice before the park closed. This was the last of the 3 hours.

However for the rest of us (with young kids) MGM was not worth it for EMH.

Actually the only park that seems really worth it for EMH for us (once again with young kids) is MK. :teeth:

I agree with everything you said. Especially the part about E-ride. Boy, do I miss that.

We did one evening EMH last year (at MGM). Never again will we do one. Part of it was nice-- we had just watched Illuminations at Epcot, and we were originally going to call it a night, but on a spur of the moment we decided to exit out of the International Gateway and take the boat to MGM. It was a really nice trip. We got there, knowing that it would be insanely crowded and the lines long, but there was a second showing of Fantasmic that night, so we were trying for that. Well, because of EMH, that showing was insanely crowded, although we did get in. Usually, if they run Fantasmic twice, the second showing is not THAT full. That night, it was. When we got out of the show, the park was packed and the lines were still long.

The best thing about it was that we got to see both Illuminations and Fantasmic in one night, so at least that was nice. :)
