Sorry this is rather long but would appreciate any feedback.
Made FP selections for our August trip. Tell me what you think. My DSIL will be joining us. It's been about 25 years since her last visit. She is now in her 60's and has a bad hip so can't walk fast or do some attractions. Therefore, we will take our touring habits down a notch, and at times split up to accommodate everyone. We will Rope Drop all our park days except 2:
Aug. 20th-Epcot-ROPE DROP
-Spaceship Earth 9:00 standby and hopefully Living with the Land then...
1-9:35-10:35 Soarin
2-10:50-11:50 Crush (could not get anything earlier)
**Might try single line for Test Track-Family is indifferent as we have done this several times over the years. Family is interested in viewing the Manatee and Aquarium and is something SIL can enjoy too.
3-11:50-12:50 Maelstrom (This is killing me, never needed FP for this or Crush) We hope to arrive when World Showcase opens and just walk on.
Enjoy the rest of our day. Family wants to walk the countries. Possibly do DVC Welcome home at 2pm
**Dinner at Beaches and Cream and then Illumination Cruise with friends from Michigan to celebrate DD and her BFF's sweet 16!. Hope to have the boat decorated with balloons
Aug.21st-Hollywood Studios-ROPE DROP (found this challenging because our group wants to fit in the shows)
-Me and DSIL will Standby for Great Movie Ride. (No one is interested in TSMM). The rest of our group will:
1. 9-10 FP-Tower of Terror
**Fit in Ariel for either the 10am or 10:25 show (it's 17 min. long)We will all do this
2. 10:10-11:10 -FP RNR(they will also try riding single line to get an extra ride or two in)
3- 11:15-11:40 we will all do Indiana Jones
4-11:45-12pm FP Ariel (booked to use up the 3rd FP)
**Try to pull a 4th fast pass for evening and Break for lunch back at the resort**
5-4:15-4:40 Beauty and the Beast (Me and DSIL) the rest will do the fast pass if we get something.
6-5:00-5:25 American Idol
**6pm dinner show reservations at Hollywood & Vine**
7-Walk thru Walt/ while DD does the Animation Drawing (don't what this is called)

Aug 22nd-Magic Kingdom-ROPE DROP
-Tomorrow Land: Space Mountain/Buzz/Laugh: We all have different interests so we will split up, then we will all head to:
1-9:35-10:35 FP Thunder Mountain
2-10:50-11:50 FP Splash (nothing for 10:35)
3-11:50-12:50 FP Jungle Cruise
**Pull a 4th FP which we will decide at that time. We may go back to the resort for lunch in our room and a swim contingent on how we feel**
Return to MK for 6pm Dinner reservations and to enjoy the rest of the evening. We hope to pull additional fast passes or if we are lucky, the standby lines will not be too long.
-9pm Parade
-10pm Wishes SIL hasn't been to Disney in over 25 years so this will be a real treat!
Aug. 23rd-Animal Kingdom ROPE DROP
**Head toward It's A Bugs Life and Dinosaur
1-9:50-10:50 FP E. Everest (part of our group) Me & DSIL will head to Birds of Wonder
2-10:50-11:50 FP Kilimanjaro Safari (all of us)
**Maybe walk over to view the gorillas until our next FP or have an early lunch
3-12:30-12:50 FP Lion King (nothing earlier available)
**Try getting a 4th FP, maybe Kali River, for later in the day & enjoy Dreams Take Flight and It All Started with a Mouse, and maybe Rafiki's Planet. Or take in the Nemo show.
We hope to ride Kali River later in the day just before we leave to return to our room for dinner. Sister in law is leaving
on Sunday so we plan to spend the evening at our resort to enjoy the pool and to give my SIL time to pack. ME will pick her up around 12:30 on Sunday for a 3:30 flight. We will head to Magic Kingdom.
Aug 24th Magic Kingdom (after SIL leaves)
**We hope to catch the new parade at 3pm and relax at the park for a bit then head to the Contemporary for 5pm Chef Mickey's dinner. Meeting friends from Michigan again. After dinner we are all heading back to MK. We saved our FP's so that we can enjoy them together.
1-6:50-7:50 FP Splash Mountain
2-7:50-8:50 FP Thunder Mountain
**Fit in whatever else we can POTC/Haunted M/etc**
3-9:50-10:50 FP Seven Dwarf Mine Train
Pull additional FP if they are even available. If not, we will wing it.
**Catch 10pm wishes and either the 9pm or 11pm parade
Late Magic hours so we hope to do Belle/Space/Mickey's Phil/Peter Pan/etc.
We did Late Magic Hours last year and we were able to do just about anything we wanted without fast passes so we hope to have the same experience. Oh yeah, and I cannot forget my Dole Whip!
Aug. 25th
-The Teens want to sleep in so Maybe we will return to MK with FP's set up from 10:55 thru 1:55. Then off to DTD for 4 pm dinner. This is our last night so we'll head back to our room to finish packing. We depart on the 26th for our first visit EVER to Universal!!!
OK, so for those who stuck with me on this and did not get bored, what do you think? Is there anything I can tweek to make our days flow better and is there anything I could add to make SIL's first visit more memorable?
