Hey! I'm 22 years old and I'm planning my disneymoon for this december! yay! My fiance is 23 and has NEVER been to disneyworld. (I have been countless times!) He is a LOVER of food and eats so much to the point its really unfair how much men can eat and hardly gain any weight! To this end I am going to do the deluxe dining plan because he requires 3 meals a day and eats a lot at each meal. Plus I like the idea of having my meals paid for up front and he can order whatever he wants on the menu without worrying about if we can afford it. I am trying to figure out which meals I want to be my "signature meals" I have definitely decided upon eating at the California Grill because we are staying at the contemporary and I think it would be so romantic to watch the fireworks from the top floor! My question is what I am going to do for my second signature meal! (We are arriving very late on sat and I will have enough meal credits from that day to eat 2 signature meals on my trip.) I thought I had decided on going to Citricos, but the more I look at cinderella's castle, the more I wonder if it wouldn't be fun to have dinner there? Keep in mind this is his first experience so just the atmosphere of Disney world will be exciting to him and he is also NOT a picky eater @ all! I am trying to stay with restaurants that work with the Deluxe Dining Plan. I just can't make up my mind! Any suggestions on these restaurants or others that you might think would be a great dining experience would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!! :rotfl:

First of all, Congratulations! I am sure you are very excited for your romantic honeymoon at Disney World!

Cinderella's Royal Table would be so romantic for dinner--my boyfriend and I have done it and loved the special attention you get. If you get a window seat looking over fantasyland while the sun sets.... its even better. They also announce honeymooners and anniversaries with fanfare by the Fairy Godmother.

I would also recommend Jiko for a signature meal if you are not too picky. Even slightly picky eaters can find something good there, like the filet with mac and cheese. The setting is quite romantic with dark overtones, nice smells, and fantastic service.

Of course, there is always Victoria and Alberts, but thats not included on the deluxe or regular dining plan.... however it does sound like something extra extra special to do (I always want to do it with my bf!! Haven't yet, but really wish to!).

Again, congrats!

First let me say CONGRATS disneymooner! I hope you and your hubby to be have a wonderful trip. My husband and I had our Disneymoon on December 2006, and it was his first time as well, so I know exactly how you are feeling..but don't worry I have converted him to my Disney ways now.:rotfl:

When we went to the CRT for dinner my husband thought it was OK, but it was not his favorite. He thought the food was very good, but he had other places he liked it more, and the entertainment was a little "girly" for him. He did like it overall, but he is not dying to go back.

I would say for my husband his favorites restaurants in all of Disney were Ohana and Artist Point. I recommend Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. First of all the Lodge is really quite romantic ( we stayed there for our honeymoon), and artist point is just very nice inside...and has a great view! It is geared to more of an adult crowd, and it is a great place for a romantic meal!!!! Their specialty is a cedar plank salmon that is just to die for! You should check it out!

Sorry this is long but I hope it helps! :)

Congratulations! I'll also be on my Disneymoon in December, and it's also his first visit, but not mine. We haven't decided if we're going to do DDP yet or not. I bet ya'll will have a great time dining in the castle. Again, congrats! Maybe we'll see ya'll there... make sure you get the bride & groom Ear hats!

CONGRATS! i am 22 and my DH is 24, and when we disneymooned in 2007 he had never been before, and the boy also LOVES TO EAT!!! and will eat ANYTHING! we sound like twins! lol.

anyway, we did the reg. dining plan and it was A LOT of food, so i hope you dont get too overwhelmed!

our FAVORITE disney restaurant of all time is Narcoossees at the GF. you can see wishes from there, too. we also really like coral reef, and the GF cafe, and for a fun character meal, crystal palace.

check out my honeymoon TR and dining reprt in my siggy for ideas if you want!

I say plan an evening at AKL - go to Jiko (awesome), then walk around the resort to see the animals. They have a great bar, also, for a nice drink. Then you can take the bus to MK, and head home to CR.

Highly recommend going to Jiko for your other signature restaurant. We went for the first time in December and it was wonderful. Service was good and the food was the best meal we had in WDW. The appertizers were so good esp. the flatbread. The filet with mac-n-cheese was to die for.

our faves:
jiko ~ 2 TS

1 TS
~raglan road (not great food IMHO, but entertainment is incredible:thumbsup2 )
~coral reef (call in advance & you can get customized menus & a diver holding a sign saying something sweet, sappy, cute, etc)
~biergarten (just a fun place)
~tutto italia (prob best 1TS ~ delicious!!)
~wolfgang puck cafe (food normally excellent)

hth :)

Congratulations! You will have a great time. I would recommend Narcoossees. Its another place you can watch the fireworks and the view is fabulous. I really enjoyed the Lobster!:lovestruc Boma is also a great place to check out. It isn't a signature, but there is a great variety of food!

Whatever you choose I think you will have an incredible trip!! :dance3:

Another vote for Narcoossee's. Beautiful setting, delicious food, wonderful experience.
