HELP! Need advice MNSSHP or MVMCP

We haven't been to either the choice is hard though....I love Christmas time and I think it would be wonderful, but my kids will miss more school then than in October. They have a staff day for school being out in October and Election day 1st week of November so it's a hard choice....

My oldest son 15 would rather go in October because there is a paintball tournament at the sports complex to help keep him entertained.

Also, how are the crowds at the end of October compared to the 1st week in December?

Any advice?

I've done both; MVMCP 3 times and MNSSHP 1 time we'll be doing MNSSHP again this October.

We love them both and have decided to alternate BUT if I had to choose, I'd choose MVMCP hands down! I'm already sad that we're not going in December this year.

There's SO much to do in December that's festive besides the wonderful MVMCP. There's the Osborne Lights at MGM, Candlelight Processional at Epcot, treelighting ceremonies, Santa's around the world etc...

It's a magical time at WDW. December is a great time to go crowd-wise except for Christmas week.

When we did MNSSHP the weather was great and there were minimal crowds...we did the last week in October. It was great. But I did miss December and the Christmas atmosphere!

We've done MVMCP three times, and MNSSHP once. Although we had a great time at MNSSHP, I love Christmas and seeing the parks and resorts decorated for Christmas!!!!

I'm planning a return trip for Christmas this year! Can't wait!!!
