Help! Need Adult Pirate Costumes ASAP

We are going on our very first Disney cruise on the Dream on Feb 29. I have a pirate costume for my DD who is 6. I had planned to borrow costumes from a friend for myself and DH, but something happen and I cannot borrow from her anymore. Where can I rent or buy pirate costumes cheap? I would need them before Feb 28 when we leave. Thanks!

We got ours from Amazon. they have a ton to choose from. My son is 6 and his cost under $10.

For an adult costume, I would buy one on Amazon or a costume website. If you are just looking to be "piratey" in appearance, you can likely find a few things in your wardrobe or stores. For example, a horizontal striped shirt, a gold hoop earring, a bandana, pants/skirt. A red sash (a scarf works great for this).
You will see a few decked out pirate cruisers in full costume. Many that have a pirate themed shirt, or that purchased an inexpensive costume or accessories, and then quite a few that only add the bandana that DCL hands out. So, dress as you feel is how you want your pics to look, and for the experience with your child. Good luck it is a fun party.

We got our on Amazon for about 30 bucks and were delivered in a couple days.

They do have pirate items for sale on the ship as well in one of the shops on deck 3 and you will also have pirate bandannas left in your stateroom that afternoon as well. (If you can't find anything before you leave.)

How about hitting the local thrift store? I got a mid-length black skirt, with a peasant-style blouse for under $5. Coupled with hoop earrings and the DCL supplied bandana, I'm good to go. No reason you can't dress up, even if your husband won't. For the record - my husband wears a pair of black slacks, white shirt (unbuttoned) & a captain's hat I got cheap at a local party store. I also whipped up a black, felt, vest with gold trim for about $2 for him to wear.

will he wear a pirate-y tshirt? DH found very inexpensive ones on Amazon. The one he went with said "Instant pirate. Just add rum". You'll receive a pirate bandana in your stateroom the night of the party. It was a lot of fun.

DH wears a pirate themed skull cap (Walmart). The bandanas they give you are too small for him.

I second the thrift shop. Get a pair of pants, cut the bottoms in big zig zags. Find a large white shirt.

Some one at our table last year used white t-shirts, black pants, and bandanas. They looked great. My husband surpized me last year and really got into it.

When we went, we played with the 'pirate' theme a little and went as characters from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. The cartoon characters are quite simple to replicate with everyday clothing too
