Alrighty, I know much about how to plan a visit to DL & DCA since I'm a local but I like to ask my fellow DIS'ers in case they have ideas that I haven't even considered.

Diana (my DSis), Tyrae (her DBF) and I are going to Disneyland & DCA on Friday, March 27th. Luckily, my sister & her DBF are upgrading their 2fers to APs this time!:cool1:

We are leaving our house at 6:30am, the latest. I will try to push to leave at 6:15am to make it to Disneyland before rope drop. We are going to do Peter Pan and Dumbo first because Tyrae has never been on either! Then we plan on grabbing fast passes for either Indiana Jones or Space Mountain. I expect it to be a bit crowded because some people will be having their spring break vacation.

We will head over to DCA around 9:30 because we want to ride TSMM first thing (and possibly more than once).

We are bringing our own food. You don't think DL security will be suspicious about three people, each having their own backpacks with sodas and food do you?;) We will be eating dinner at ESPN zone.

Other than that I'm at a loss of how to do this, any ideas?

I would suggest planning out what you want to do at CA and planning to do everything on your list once you are done riding TSMM. I would think minimizing the park hopping would allow you to do more. Therefore, plan a block of time at CA and have DL be in the morning and in the afternoon after you are done with CA. Does that make sense?

And of course, use the FP option as much as possible.

If you get your Space Mtn FP first, and then go to Peter Pan, the line for PP will only be slightly longer, and that way you'll also be able to get a FP for Indy before you hop to DCA.

DL's and DCA's FastPass machines are not connected, so at 9:30am you should be able to get a FP for Soarin'.

HTH :earsboy:

Use single rider on TSMM. Saves so much time and really, does it matter who you sit next to? I met some really nice people riding single rider on the ladies' trip. :)

Disney Inspired, here's my one day trip report from a Thursday in Oct. Not necessarily a recommended plan, but you might get some ideas.

I personally like to "hop" to DCA after 10:30 (after picking up as many FPs at DL as i can). Works for me, but one time on TSMM would be enough for us.

Have a great time. :thumbsup2
