I am due in July and can not come up with a good name that DH and I can agree on

don't know if it is a boy or a girl

the book of 40,001 names is ridiculous - and all starting to blur together for me - I mean really WHO would name there baby some of those names..

We don't want anything as common as Jason or Jennifer...
or as odd as Tuhlula or Fabio

:D

What's your nationality? If you're Irish, then a good boy's name is Liam. I'm Irish and I love that name. My girlfriend hates it. She likes Brandon for a boy and Taylor for a girl. I guess I won't have much say when we have our own kids someday, but that's okay, I like the names she likes.

Here are a few names that I like:

Kara or Emily for a girl...

Joshua (Josh) or Elliott for a boy...

One of my co-workers just had a little girl...Kayla Simone and my neighbor has a little boy named Phillip Michael.

Congrats!!!

I'm due in late May and we can't agree on anything either. :D We liked Parker, Mason, Hunter, Jameson, or Michael for a boy (we're having a girl, "Parker" is my OB's surname). For a girl, I want Elisa or Michaela, he likes Nicole-but that's DD #2's middle name. I used to really like the name Callista but Ms. Flockhart ruined that one for me. I also like Cassandra (I'm a Classicist by college degree) Our kids are named Natalie Kathleen, Tristan David, and Caroline Nicole if any of those interest you. I'm told Tristan works really good for a girl too. I think Jameson would too (only I would spell it Jamison), but DH doesn't like that one period.
I'm interested to see other names on this thread too. That's all I can come up with off the top of my head.

I am partial to Stephanie, Rachel and Kristen (my 3 DD's).

Other girls names I really like but didn't fit well with my last name:

Hannah (DD #3s middle name), Sophia, Bailey, Morgan........

Boys names: I like somewhat traditional ones...........Michael, Jonathan, Christopher, Nicolas, Benjamin

Whatever you choose to name your child he/she will be the joy of your life...........best wishes and congratulations!

I'm partial to Jonathan, Jordan, Jared, and Julian. :teeth:

If we would have had a girl her name was going to be Alyssa Brianna. :)

I love the name Lidia for a girl and for a boy I like Justin. Good luck I know it is a very difficult decision to make.

Love the name Elliott.

Our son will be named Dylan Marcus.

I love the name Joie for a girl. If we had a girl her name would have been Ava.

Congratulations, I love Rachel for a girl and Joshua for a boy. It's funny when DH and I finally found a name we both liked we just stopped the discussion. That was it.

Congratulations! When in July are you due? I am due the 9th :) We don't know what we are having, but the name will be either Ryan Patrick or Noelle Terese.

Other names that had been on our list were Joseph, Garrett, Matthew, Liam, and Brady for boys. Girls, Jolie, Emily, and Courtney.

I love Olivia, Livvie for short, and Alaina, Lainie for short
Also like Scott for a boy. Simple, but you don't hear it much anymore.
Congratulations on the baby!

If my DD would have been a boy her name would have Grant Thomas.....
For a girl I like Aleaha, Isabelle, Olivia and Lucy.
Good Luck

I always liked Marcus Scott for a boy. For a girl I picked out Zoe, Alexandria and Adia.

My little girl is Julie Ella.

Congrats and good luck!!!

You know, the Bible is full of virtuous names! But, I'm a little biased. ;) We named our daughter Hannah (means Grace of God) and our son Caleb (means "loyal"). My daughter has my middle name (Jeanette) and my son has 2 middle names- Patrick David (my husband and father-in-law's middle name is Patrick and my dad's name is David- my son was the first grandson on my side of the family).

My daughters names are Megan and Macie. I get a ton of compliments on Macie as it is different.

I love Mandy, Emily, Bailey or Elena for girls.

Never ever ever picked a boys name, must of known I was having a girl both times.princess:

Best wishes for a healthy baby!

I have found that any of the "American Girl doll" names are becoming popular, ny favorite of course is Kirsten. I also am partial to Lauren for a girl, as that is my DD name. We always liked Katrina, just wanted a name that ended in "n" this last time. You could call her Trina or Kat for short. For boys Nathan and Kevin are my DS's, but also like Todd and Davis. Congrats and best wishes on picking out a name.
