This guy has serious problems!!!
I know it is the season for leaf blowing, but we hear that thing all year long & it seems to be at a peak right now. I am not exaggerating when I say that he is out there w/ that loud instrument of hell on a sat. morning for three hours in JULY, what he is blowing I have no idea, butterfly poop off his pristine walkway? You can only imagine the hours he's putting in now!!! He wears those headphones that block sound, I guess he doesn't want to hear all of the noise pollution he is causing!

The clincher is that twice this week one time being this morning I caught him blowing his leaves off his driveway onto my lawn, actually walking them over as he blew!!! He saw me both times & just turned around like he didn't.
I have never really talked to him much, just wave usually & had one conversation when they first moved in last year.
My whole lawn is pretty clear except for the area near his driveway!
We just did 14 bags worth of leaves a few days ago, I don't even mind leaves, hey its nature...I just can't believe that this guy can be so obnoxious!
I swear if he cuts his lawn w/ his nose hair trimmer I wouldn't be surprised, he really needs help, I called my DH at work & he told me to be the better person & not to tell the kids to throw the leaves back on his driveway (which was my plan:rotfl: )
Does anyone else out there have a lawn obsessed neighbor?:goodvibes

Oh Tag Fairy..... "My neighbor blows butterfly poop off of his walkway!";)

If I wasn't in NJ, I'd think we were neighbors. I just turned to my mom and said "the kid next door is out there again!!!!"

The kid next door has the blower going all dang day. It is so annoying! There is absolutely nothing left to blow. I'm only home for the holiday but my parents say he is out there all the time.

This is the same brilliant child that throws twigs and branches into the lawn mower.

I looked out there after I posted & he was walking the leaves from the middle of the street onto the lawn of the people across the street from him!!
I guess he is afraid of cars blowing them his way!!!
He really is crazy, He has been out there for hours & at 10;30 there was hardly a leaf on his lawn.
Maybe he had nightmares as a child about Audrey from Little Shop Of Horrors.
Serious leaf issues here!!!

As I write, I'm listening to that loud WHIRRRRRR of my neighbor's 'leaf blower'

Last week it gave me a huge headache, he was out there untill it got dark (and, boy was I praying for it to get dark!) blow me, (pardon the pun) he was back out at the crack of dawn the next day!!
These things should be banned! They pollute both with the gas they burn and the noise they create.

You MUST be my neighbor..
Oh I see you live in NY so you can't be...
What is in with these men and their leaf blowers?!?
We have a neighbor that is outside using his leaf blower 3-4 days a week for
hours at a time.
I have no idea what he is blowing around either but he does take the job very seriously..
The funny part is he has no trees in his front yard (he does have shrubs) and does this all year long.:rotfl2:
I'm not sure what leaf blower man as we call him around here gets out of doing this but I have noticed that his wife is hardly ever home.
I wonder why...:rolleyes1

I have long had a theory that leaf blowere and power washers are important to men because...wait a minute, I'd better not, too afraid of getting points. Just think about it...

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I believe his evil twin is in CT...

Just add some spitting while he'd doing it....

My neighbors wife is hardly ever home either! She is a lawyer (I have seen her maybe 3 times) & he's a teacher so maybe he feels like the money they are saving on 62 hours worth of landscaping a week makes up for the difference in salaries!
I think I'm going to stop raking the leaves & we still have 2 large trees full of leaves, just to get back at him!
I know I am being petty & its my only "vent" post ever, but after months of listening to that thing & watching him blow his leaves all over the neighborhood..........its making me nuts!!!

I say do it anyway. At least it will give him some purpose to his leaf blowing, if he's gonna be doing it anyway...

They like to be clean and neat?:confused3

Oh. I have one of those neighbors from hell. He is in love with his leaf blower, and come the first snowfall, his snow blower. He got the snow blower 2 years ago. That first snowfall, we might have had 1/2 inch on the ground and he's out there for a test run. Come on dude! Just use a broom like the rest of us. It was barely a dusting! Thank God his driveway is fairly short. Or I would have to kill him.

My dear neighbor owns a golf course and has an industrial size leaf blower that he brings home. Fortunately he doesn't use it as much as above posters neighbors. When he does though boy is it loud. :headache:

Although my dh doesn't blow leaves on our neighbors lawns (he acutally cleans up their yard too), he is obsessed with the leaf blower. I got scared when I saw you were from NY thinking you were talking about my dh :rotfl2: but like I said, he does our neighbors too :confused3
This is just the buidup to winter when he plays outside all day with the snowblower, I usually have to call him in when I start seeing him actually do the street :lmao: .....really :rotfl2:

I could have seriously written your post. My neighbor will leaf blow wet, frozen leaves for hours, when he could have just raked them in a half hour.

My neighbor also blows the leaves from his and my driveway onto MY lawn. DH says neighbor must feel he is doing us a favor somehow. I soooo badly want to toss those leaves right back onto his driveway but dh tells me to be the bigger person. AAAAAGH!!

I feel for you.

i have really nice neighbors but,,,,,,,,,,,,,oh my god who the he.. thought of inventing the leaf blower.............i cannot stant them.......they are so dam loud, and the smell makes me sick. my neighbor really has a nice yard, but come on. he is out there all the time.......hello one more leaf falls and hes out there.........i cant stand it. and the funny thing, and its NOT funny...the small front yards that we both have, well they planted this nice little tree a few years ago..well now its HUGE , way to big for the yard, i know its their business, but ALL the freakin leaves go on our yard and our driveway, clogging the drain pipe in my driveway. i have not said anything yet, cause i figure what would they do. they certainly arnt gonna cut the tree down. i think we get 90 percent of THEIR leaves....but like i said , they are really nice neighbors...............i hope they invent something quieter soon.......
