So, here's a list of our ADR's. I'm having trouble with 12/20 and 12/21. I'm not sure which ADRs to cancel. We have two boys, ages 4 and 6.

12/16 Teppan Edo dinner (Evening at Epcot)
12/17 Tusker House Breakfast and 'Ohana Dinner (AK)
12/18 1900 Park Faire Dinner (MK)
12/19 T-Rex Dinner (OOP) (AK)
12/20 EITHER 'Ohana Breakfast (9:15am) or Akershus Dinner (6:25pm) (Epcot)
12/21 EITHER Chef Mickey's Late breakfast (12pm) or Chef Mickey's Dinner (5:50pm) (MK)
12/22 Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package (DHS)
12/23 Whispering Canyon Cafe (???)

I made the Akershus ressie before I found out my cousin was going at the same time as us and wanted to do 1900 Park Faire on 12/18, so now we have 2 princess meals. That may be a little much for my boys (although I would enjoy it :)!). I snagged the 'Ohana breakfast ressie the other day, but it's right at park opening time, which will limit what we can do in Epcot (I use Ridemax, and it still has us being able to get FPs for both Soarin' and Test Track as long as we get back the park by 11am, but we will only be able to ride Soarin' once, unless we want to wait stand by, which is not happening!). I also can't decide between the late breakfast and the dinner at Chef Mickey's on our second MK day. Any advice?? TIA! --Katie

Personally I wouldn't do Ohana both breakfast and dinner.
But I also wouldn't do 2 princess meals.

I would do WCC, that place is fun and the boys will highly like it. Gives them some "rough" time vs the girls "princess" time. Equal play, even though the girls will probably like WCC, the boys will LOVE it.

I agree on WCC. I've not been, but want to and it seems perfect for little boys. Ditch Akershus for dinner. Don't torture your boys with all the princesses and yourself with the terrible food. Oh, and I'd keep CM's for dinner just because that breakfast time is odd. (I'll not get started on suggesting you skip it altogether though. I put it in the same category as Akershus dinner.... :rolleyes1)

I hope I've helped and not make things harder on you. I have very strong opinions on Disney dining both what I do and do not like. :)

WCC is a hoot! And the WL is decorated so beautifully for Christmas!

My boys love 1900 park fare. The Mad Hatter is alot of fun and balances all the girls out! If you are worried about losing your fastpasses skip the Ohana breakfast and try for another ts or quick service breakfast. Kona cafe in POly is really good, just no characters. If you keep an eye on the disney site and the December cancelation thread on this site you may be able to snag another ressie. Have never done Akershurs because I was afriad my boys would not like all the princesses. Good luck, I know you will have a great time whatever you choose!

On 12/20 I would either do Ohana for breakfast or try to get something different for dinner in Epcot, like Biergarten, Coral Reef, or Garden Grill. I would ditch Akershus; I think 2 princess meals for 2 boys is too much.

I would keep the dinner at CM; 12:00 ADR seems like it would cut into your touring day too much.

Hope this helps!:goodvibes

OP here. Since they released more Chef Mickey's I was able to wiggle things around a bit. I also snagged Crystal Palace lunch ADR, and my boys told me they'd rather eat with Pooh than at Whispering Canyon. We looked a pictures of both places, and I told them all about the stick horse races, etc. My boys are just suckers for characters!! They also prefer the 'Ohana breakfast over Akershus dinner. We'll probably do that and just make the best of our FastPass use at Epcot. So, here's what it's looking like so far:

12/16 Teppan Edo dinner (Evening at Epcot)
12/17 Tusker House Breakfast and 'Ohana Dinner (AK)
12/18 1900 Park Faire Dinner (MK)
12/19 T-Rex Dinner (OOP) (AK)
12/20 'Ohana Breakfast (9:15am) (Epcot)
12/21 Crystal Palace Lunch (11:35am) (MK)
12/22 Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package (DHS)
12/23 Chef Mickey's Dinner (6:45pm) (Not sure which park we'll tour)

I'm sad to let go of Whispering Canyon, but the boys LOVE characters and would eat with Characters every single day if the could. They won't be into Pooh too much longer, so we'll save Whispering Canyon for another trip :). Thanks for the help. --Katie

Good plan. :) I'm with you. My girls won't be in to Pooh much longer so as long as they're requesting him then CP for breakfast it is. Your plan looks great now. Have a great trip!
