HELP: My daughter broke her Sleeping Beauty ornament

Hi folks, I hope somebody out there has a good suggestion. We were at Disneyland two weeks ago, and we bought Mickey Mouse and Sleeping Beauty ornaments.

I knew they were delicate, so there were up high on the tree. Somehow my DD4 got her Sleeping Beauty down while my husband was watching the girls. Her story about how it happened is very suspect. "Mommy, I was trying to hang it back onto the tree... and it just jumped down and broke."

It is a Prince Phillip and Sleeping Beauty together. It is a clean break at her tiny waist and Phillip's feet were knocked off.

It looks like I should be able to glue it back together. I just don't know what kind of glue would work. The ornament is made of resin (sp?). I had asked the CM if the ornaments were breakable and she explained that on carpets they should be fine but on tile or hardwood you knock off the little stuff, like feet and mickey noses. Of course it fell on the laminate instead of the rug... grrr.

Please let me know if you have any idea what glue works best with resin.

These kinds of thing have happened in my home, too.

I have to say I have been pretty successful with "super glue". You do not need to apply a lot and it is best to leave it untouched for a while to dry (before you put it back/away). I hope that works for you as well.

If that does not work, I wonder if Disney Merchandising could help you to get another?

I have had a lot of success with Krazy Glue Gel, after applying the glue try to hold it in place for at least 30 seconds or more and then as mentioned above leave it untouched for a while.
