I'm back to the question plaguing my ADR planning: Where oh where to eat before MVMCP??? I'll be honest, I'm not thrilled with ANY of the choices, but we do need to eat and I'm under orders that it be a TS dinner! Help a girl out?

Voting is good, but posting a reason with your choice is even better :goodvibes

Thanks all!

We loved eating at LTT last year prior to MVMCP. We thought the food was great with plenty of variety for our crew. The kids loved most of the offerings and I was happy that you could have more if necessary. It was also a great way to get in the mood for the party because it's so decked out with Christmas decorations and to see Minnie, Goofie, Pluto, and Chip and Dale dressed in their Holiday attire was fantastic. We had some of our best photos from our dinner at LTT. And the characters were a blast, Chip and Dale were just crazy:) .

The dessert was great. We had 4:30 ADR which had us out of there in plenty of time to do a few things before the party started.

We're going again this year with another 4:30 ADR on our MVMCP party night November 27th!

ditto! :thumbsup2

I enjoyed LTT during our 2005 trip and that was our original plan for this yar, until we found out that it was all booked up. So we've decided to go to Artist Point instead. That may not be an option for you (it counts as 2 TS credits), but you might look into some of the resort restaurant options. Maybe Kona Cafe or Ohana or the Whispering Canyon Cafe.

I picked CP as my first choice.

Second choice, Tony's.

Third choice, LTT.

I picked based on food.

Although the LTT characters wear their Christmas attire, I still can't get past the food factor. My kids just don't like Stouffers mac & cheese and they weren't thrilled with anything else.

I wouldn't eat any later than 5:45p.

Good luck deciding!

The last 3 MVMCP we went to CP and the food is awesome! If these places do not appeal to you I suggest eating on the monorail line, Ohana, Kona, 1900Park Faire, Chef Mickeys etc.....

We have been very happy with LTT. We went there prior to the halloween party and it worked out great. We loved the food and the location. When we were done with dinner we went across the street to get our bracelets and were ready for the rest of the night. This year for the Christmas party were are doing the same thing with ADR at 5PM.

Thanks for all the replies so far! :) Believe me, I'd much prefer a resort dinner, but I'm traveling with my mother and my DS5, both of whom are a "challenge" to move aorund quickly. ;) I think we're safer staying in the park.

Let me ask the LTT folks a question: any idea how the dinner food compares with lunch? We weren't impressed when we had lunch there last, but maybe the dinner is better?

We haven't done lunch at LTT, but we have had dinner there and loved it! I'm a pretty picky eater, and I still loved it. I came out stuffed. My DBF and I are both planning on eating there again in December.

Another suggestion if you want to stay in the park...The Plaza. Its a table service restaurant, has good sandwiches and shakes! If not, I say Crystal Palace.

Tony's would be my last choice. Actually, if either of the other two weren't available, I'd rather eat in one of the MK hotels.

I'm the only Tony's vote. We loved Tony in November. I don't like the Stoffer's frozen meals at LTT. The Crystal Palace is OK, it's a buffet so there's a continue line of people up and down pass your table. I do agree about eating at one of the MK hotels.

I did vote for CP, however, I've enjoyed Tony's twice before parties! :thumbsup2

THIS JUST IN.... all of this discussion may be for nought..... now my family's saying "no MVMCP" this year! Well, THAT makes the decision easier now, doesn't it? :rotfl2:

But thank you all for sharing your thoughts and opinions - who knows? With 6 months to go, all plans are open to change!

We have eatern at LTT twice and will for the third time this year. The food is very good and is served family style. Nothing frozen about it. Its good, plentiful and seconds are quick to come. The character interaction is very good and the location is perfect. This restaurant stays open during MVMCP and I believe CP closes when it start so that may be a important factor for you. In the end every family is different and what works for one may not for another. I do know that LTT books up early and is packed all the time we are there so if you have not made your ADR's better hurry...smjj

You got that right! We just booked the last ADR for LTT for Nov 15th! :woohoo: They're totally booked. We had to take a 4:20pm ADR.

Crystal Palace, definitely. The selection is enough to please everybody, and the characters are great. I've got to call in my ADR tonight!

We ate at LTT last year before our first MVMCP and are doing the same this year. We loved it! :thumbsup2

Tony's is a great place to get into the Magic Mood, especially if you ask for a table outside on the front porch. Great view of Main Street from there, and during the holiday season it's even better than normal.

Enjoy.
