My DD23 and her boyfriend are moving from Milwaukee, Wi to Brooklyn, NY. He will be attending grad school at Pratt and she is looking for a job as a user experience designer. They have a need for a rental moving truck one way for the small amount of furniture (basically a bedroom set), household items, clothing and electronics they own.
The lowest price we have found is through Penske using a AAA and online discount for $850 for a 10ft. truck with unlimited miles....no gas, of course.
Seems a bit high to me.
Does anyone know of any discounts or have an alternate suggestion?
Shipping their stuff out there would cost about the same...they've checked into it.
