I wasn't even saying it out loud what we wanted - I was SO worried I would jinx it.
We love OKW so much, so this is perfect for us and we get it kind of for free as we got last years points and this years as well - so like a free vacation at this great resort.

That's great! I'm sure you probably never have, but I'm curious...have you taken the busses from OKW to any of the parks? I'm just curious about how long it takes to get from that general area to the parks, as I'm staying at SSR in April.

Anyway, very happy for you and very excited. We're getting so close!

Ok, I'm really, really late to your TR/PTR, but subbing. I started looking for it as I knew you and Tom were going back in Febuary, and now you have your upcoming trip +2more!!!!!! Can't wait for more.

....how exciting that you will be in WDW and back on the Dream in 16 days!!! We just finalized our hotels for August...6 nights at Kidani, 7 nights at BLT (can't believe we got a room there at the 7 month window) and ending our trip at BWV. This is the first summer since we bought OKW in 1993 that we are not staying there. I hope we can get to see you when we are there.

Elaine, you have a wonderful array of resorts on your list for the summer!
Kidani should be wonderful (it's on our "to do" list too, but we stayed at the AKL shortly after it opened) and BLT is a great location too! We cannot wait to stay there in two and half weeks - our FIRST DVC stay!!!
And since you are trying other resorts, we will stand in for you at OKW. We just love it there!
And we definitely have to meet in the summer! I am so looking forward to it.

OKW is our favourite resort. You cannot beat the community feel and the space you have in a 1 BR villa.
And actually, even if I am counting down like a mad woman, it's so unbelievable we will be back at WDW in just two weeks!

I am so glad you found our PTR, you are still early, as I have the whole summer trip to plan and we have a short 4 day trip to DLRP and a weekend trip to Italy planned, so there should be lots of fun!

Down to 14 days ..... 2 more weeks! ​

It's sooooooo cold here at the moment. This weekend should be the coldest we have had this winter so far, it's hard to be outside and poor Tom has to spend a lot of time outside being a mailman in the city!

We picked up Tom's new suit (which had to altered) from the tailor's yesterday and I am still thinking about what to wear to Remy. I do not enjoy having to dress up too much, so I need to find something that looks dressy and feels comfortable.

We are trying to finish our FE gifts this weekend, so we can start putting most of them into a box to take with us.
Owner's Locker has been notified and our locker is ready to "meet" us again at the Poly.
US dollars are ordered from the bank (they never have small bills, so you need to order ahead) and the suitcases are ready.

14 days to countdown and then we can go back to our happy place! Excitement, excitement!!!!!!

Down to 13 days ..... less than 2 weeks! ​

We had a busy weekend, doing lots of shopping on Friday and Saturday. Today we finished day1 and day2 of Fish Extender gifts and put them into the correct order as how we are going to hand them out on the ship (they are personalized, so the names need to fit )
I have been washing and ironing like a mad woman to get ahead on work uniforms for Tom and clothes to take to Florida.
My binder with all the reservation confirmations and all the planning is done and Tom has ordered Dollars from the bank.
2 more busy weeks at school and in exactly 2 weeks time we will already be on the DREAM!

For what it's worth - I just wore black slacks, a black blouse and some sparkly costume jewelry. Simple and very comfy, and they let me in, so it must have passed muster!!

Very few people use a dryer here, so ironing is part of the "fun" of doing laundry.

We are nearly at single digits ..... I cannot believe it!
