Just popping in to say HI!

First off, in just 20 days we will be on our way to the Bahamas!

Our summer vacation is less than 200 days out and we finished some of our Fish Extender projects today. A few more to make and we can tick this one off the list!

Most of the weekend was spent making my binder. I usually carry a binder with all the reservation confirmations, daily planning and more. There was not much time left, so this weekend I just had to do it.
Project finished and as has happened before, when I was putting everything together I was missing our Annual Passes! Thankfully in the end they did turn up again, but it made for a scary few minutes.

Can't wait to get to Florida to get out of the cold. It's getting pretty cold here and I am really sick of it by now.

He made some more fun magnets (guess we'll need double doors on the ship ) and once they are finally finished I have to post them here too!

There are some people on ebay, who make FE, but they are not hard to make, I always made my own - about two hours (the Lederhosen and Dirndlkleid one I made for our last cruise!) work and it is a unique one.

It's nearly midnight, so we are VERY close to the teens in our countdown!

Update!

First off, we are down to 18 days today!!!!!!!!

We have not changed anything for our February vacation. I am sticking with my reservations ....




BUT




Yesterday I got Mickey Email!
We are staying at the Contemporary Resort Club Level in August and I got an email with a list of things we want to do and which they will be happy to plan for us.
I was stunned. I had never thought about this before and now I have no idea what I want them to plan for me!
Tom and I will have to come up with some kind of plan to let them work for their money.
It's still over 190 days out, so we haven't given it much thought yet!


And Tom came up with another cute magnet, which I wanted to show to you all.

I think Disney should hire Tom, as he comes up with the cutest slogans!

And we definitely will let them work on "our" itinerary. It is one of the CL perks, so why not use it/them. Maybe they come up with something more unique than what we usually do!

Countdown and update!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are down to 16 days today!!!!!!! (well, almost 15, as we are only 1 hour away from midnight )

AND ...... I got to book the last part of our summer stay today. First time I got to use DVC points online and we got exactly what we were looking for.
6 nights at

OLD KEY WEST!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you expect anything else?

Booking online was VERY easy and I can now pull up my new ressie on the Disney site.
I did call them later tonight and cancelled the Free Dining reservation I had for POR and put in a room request for the Poly.
Since we are only staying for one night I am not concerned about a view, but I hate ground floor rooms, so I asked for anything else but ground floor. Was told that a request was just that, a request, but we are hopeful.

I wasn't even saying it out loud what we wanted - I was SO worried I would jinx it.
We love OKW so much, so this is perfect for us and we get it kind of for free as we got last years points and this years as well - so like a free vacation at this great resort.

....how exciting that you will be in WDW and back on the Dream in 16 days!!! We just finalized our hotels for August...6 nights at Kidani, 7 nights at BLT (can't believe we got a room there at the 7 month window) and ending our trip at BWV. This is the first summer since we bought OKW in 1993 that we are not staying there. I hope we can get to see you when we are there.
