HELP!!!!!! More Disney Dreams to fulfill! 09/04 Exciting news!

Summer vacation 2012,
Key West, WDW, back to back cruises on the Disney DREAM, and another week at WDW.

Day 16:
Nassau

I guess we will sleep in a little today and after a relaxing shower we will walk down to the Royal Palace for breakfast.
I cannot wait to enjoy another

IMG_1576.jpg

Morning Tug Boat and

IMG_1580.jpg

Eggs Benedict there. Once we have sufficiently filled our bellies we will get off the ship and head into Nassau.
I guess we will walk around a little bit,

DSC_0855.jpg

maybe even make it up to the Queen’s Staircase again before we do some shopping

DSC_0853.jpg

and then head back to the ship.

IMG_1183.jpg

We will need some lunch and if there is a chance we will head to the Royal Palace again. If it is close to their closing time we will head to Cabanas instead.

In the afternoon we will most likely have coffee at the Cove Café, join one of the tastings or demonstrations

DSC_0066.jpg

and play one of the detective games on board and we will hand out round two of our Fish Extender gifts.
We might even hit the adult pool for a little while. Then around 5.30 we will get ready for dinner at Palo, where a chocolate soufflé is calling both our names.

After dinner we will either hit one of the bars for a nice relaxing drink

or head straight back to our stateroom for an early night.

Unfortunately milk and I don't go together well. :lmao:
But I might get Tom to try one and have a sip, then cry over the fact that I can't have one. :rotfl2:

Day 17:
Day at sea

I guess this will be a day filled with food. ;)

First off, once we are up and running we will head to the Royal Palace for some breakfast.

Having filled up on wonderful breakfast items we will then head to the “Art of the Theme Ship” tour. We have been on the tour before but they are so much fun, so why not doing it again. Once the tour is over we will then head to the Captain’s Reception for a meet and greet with the ship’s officers

and after that it will be time for our next food appointment, our brunch at Palo.

After that we will be ready for some rest and then I want to do something which we have not done on any of the 7 cruises before, grab a deckchair and watch a movie, or at least part of it from the open decks.
Maybe we will have a chance to join another one of the ship’s tasting classes before we hand out more Fish Extender gifts and get ready for dinner.
Today we will have dinner at Remy again.

After dinner we will change into something more comfortable and head up to deck 12 for the pirate party and fireworks on board.

If we can still fit in little something we will pick up a snack or two from the pirate buffet (but I actually highly doubt it) and then head back to our stateroom for another good night’s sleep on board the Disney DREAM.

Hi Teresa!
I am glad you like my photos. And to be honest I cannot wait to go back and have some of that yummy food rather sooner than later ...... AND I cannot wait to see you and Mick again!!!!!!! :woohoo:

always falling behind any more... I was only 3 updates behind.

I really love that you are getting a cabana again. I imagine that it totally the way to go. I assume you get a bit of privacy...some amenities. Since you have done it in the past and plan to once on each of these cruises it must be worth they cost....

The beach looks great! I was showing dh the pictures as I read through... I think it sounds way more up his alley.

Up.. eat breakfast... swim... relax..eat..eat...eat.. :rotfl: All that food looks sooo yummy!!!

We can't wait to see you and Tom too! It won't be long.

5 1/2 more weeks and we'll be able to spend time together! :woohoo:

3 updates? That's not much Ann! :thumbsup2

Having that Cabana last summer really spoiled us. I do not only have one booked for this summer, but THREE, one for every day we will spend at CC. ;)
Yes, they do not come cheap, but it was wonderful to have somewhere "out of the sun" to hide and relax and enjoy and still have the view of the ocean. And they really look after you. We never rang for the Cabana host, so he just on occasion dropped by to ask if we needed anything. There was plenty of water and soft drinks and loads to nibble. ;)
I am sure you and your DH would love CC and the cruise isn't bad either.
You got it all right. Sleep - eat - relax - eat - sleep - eat - relax some more and eat lots more. :rotfl2:

Falling behind isn't the word for me....starting from scratch here :flower3:

Going to page 1!!!!! :goodvibes

Okay, here come the trip related updates!

Over the holidays Tom and I have been discussing details our summer vacation (and even our summer vacation 2013 :rotfl2:) and decided on a few changes to our vacation.

First off, we had changed the destination of our flights before we booked them in November.
In the beginning we wanted to fly to Miami to start off our vacation. Now the flights were about the same as flights into Orlando and since both flights arrive in the afternoon/evening we decided to stick with MCO.

So, since we arrive around 7pm, then have to go through immigration and customs we will just spend the first night at the Hyatt at the airport and then pick up our rental car in the morning.
After breakfast at WPE we will then drive to Key Largo (and maybe we will stop in Miami for an early dinner at Bubba Gump's) where we will stay at the Courtyard by Mariott.

The next three nights we will spend at the Southernmost on the beach in Key West and the next change is, that we will not spend the night in Key Largo again but go on to Fort Lauderdale where we will spend one more night at the Sun Tower Hotel and Suites before heading to WDW and our stay at the Contemporary Club Level.

And that concludes the updates for our summer trip! :goodvibes

fingers crossed we can meet up on the way in/out of key west!:cheer2:

A day filled with food is a good day! :thumbsup2

I couldn't agree with you more, Jennifer!

I guess I need to get on with posting more of our plans ...... we're not done yet. ;)

Day 18:
Castaway Cay again

Today will be our second Castaway Cay day. It will be very similar to our first one there. We will start our day with a room service breakfast on the balcony,

IMG_2072.jpg

and then eagerly await the moment we are allowed to get off the ship.

IMG_2074.jpg

Again, we will have wristbands for a Cabana and we will head for the tram and out onto Serenity Bay to check in for our Cabana.

IMG_2092.jpg

Our Cabana host will then take us to our Cabana

IMG_2096.jpg

and we will settle in before heading for the ocean.

IMG_1275.jpg

DSCF1214.jpg

After a nice dip and a shower afterwards we will enjoy a leisurely time on the veranda of our Cabana

IMG_2093.jpg

until it will be time to head to the barbeque for lunch.

IMG_1285.jpg

After a wonderful lunch that will include some of their yummy salads and at least one chocolate chip cookie

IMG_1287-1.jpg

we will head back to our Cabana for the rest of our day.

DSC_0697.jpg

I am pretty sure there will be one or two adult drinks too,

DSCF1136.jpg

before far too soon it will be time to head back to the ship again.

IMG_1271.jpg

And after having taken a shower we will then hand out the last of our Fish Extender gifts, before heading to the Cove Café for a nice and relaxing coffee treat.

IMG_1503-1.jpg

We will then watch the DREAM pull away from Castaway Cay

DSC_0895.jpg

DSC_0917.jpg

and enjoy some more relaxing time on the veranda before it will be time to get ready for dinner at our assigned rotation restaurant.

IMG_1254.jpg

After dinner we will head back to our stateroom and take off the door decorations so they won’t get lost in the disembarkation and new embarkation process. We might sit out on the veranda for a while before it will be time to call it a day again.
