Help! MNSSHP on Oct 8th or 11th??

Oct 8th is Columbus day observed and I'm thinking that there will probably be more people there that day due to the 3 day weekend and florida residents. Does this sound right?
 
We will be there on the the 8th celebrating DS's birthday. 11th will probably be less crowded.
