HELP! Medicine Does Not Have OZ Listed

I take Fluticasone (Flonase) Nasal Spray for allergies. I have looked all over this bottle and can't find how many ounces it is. I have it in it's box, but the prescription is not tagged on it, since I get it as a 90-day prescription. I don't want to check it, as DME is handling my luggage. Can I still bring this in my carry-on?

As it's a prescription, it is FINE to take as carry on. It does not matter how many ounces it is. I would assume that being a spray it wouldn't contain *that* many ounces. You do need to declare (show) it to the TSA when you go through the checkpoint.

When going through security, I put my medications in a separate zip-lock bag, and I put the bag in the bin along with the toiletries bag, my shoes, purse, etc. I've never had a problem or been questioned --- though all my meds are pills.

It really should be just fine -- but you never know what sort of agents will be working the security line.

Just in case ---- Can you make a copy of the prescription information from when it is delivered to you? And, do you have a spare bottle that you can put into your checked bag --- just in case you run into an over-eager TSA agent.

I tend to plan for worst-case --- but I've never encountered worst-case.

Both prescription and non-prescription medicines can be taken in reasonable quantities separate from your 3-1-1 bag. You don't need your prescription, just get a screening agent's attention that you have a separate bag of medicine to be screened.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I do have an additional bottle and will add an extra bottle to my toiletry bag. Thanks for the suggestion.

If it's the same size as my bottles of it (50mcg), it's way under 3 oz if you hold it up against something that is 3 oz.
