Help Me!!!

I need suggestions for my birthday dinner next week. I already posted on this topic debating between GK and BB but I now have doubts for both.

So any suggestions on a birthday dinner would be great, I would like it to be at least semi-affordable and good food, atmosphere is as a plus!

Thank you in advance for your patience with my indecisive nature but I was going through the DLR menu database and was over stimulated and thought this would be a good question for DISers!

I second the Wine Country Trattoria! It is my new favorite DLR restaurant!

Does it have to be in disneyland ?I say go have a nice meal out side the park, save ton of money and a better meal

Wine Country Trattoria and Carnation are both great places to eat. Is there a specific reason why you are unsure about Blue Bayou? Because it seems that would be a really nice place to celebrate a birthday - great atmosphere. What about Storytellers for dinner (during the non-character hours)? Or Rainforest Cafe in DTD?

I've been reading the comments a lot of people are leaving on here about BB and it seems to have bad service for really expensive mediocre(spelling is not my forte) food. But the atmosphere seems to be absolutely worth it! AHH! Im overwhelmed and overstimulated!
Oh well, either way I'm in Disneyland in 5 days!!!

I really love the atmosphere of the BB, BUT I am in the minority as far as loving it as an overall restaurant. The wait to be seated was too long for me. The food is just not my thing, but again, I am the odd one out in that opinion. Most folks love it. I would rather have a great pizza than eat the food at the BB, but that is just my picky taste! I do love Goofy's above and beyond all the other DLR restaurants, but there are cetainly enough other folks on DIS who don't love it. And you may or may not. You wouldn't know until you paid the $$$ and sat down. So that is why I was thinking more along the lines of Rainforest Cafe for you - or how about the new Celebration Round-Up BBQ place inside DL? Otherwise, WCT and Carnation are both charming little restaurants, and while not big, splashy b-day type places, they have good food so you would probably enjoy those.

And yes, it is information overload on DIS - especially for those of us (like myself) who are terrible at making decisions of restaurants!!
