Help me with Sanaa

We will be staying at AKL but we will be eating at Sanaa's one night. Can we walk over to Sanaa? We will not have a car only ME.

I think the walkway is something like one half mile. Very do-able.

I guess it depends on the path and how quickly you walk but we were told by the CMs in the AKV gift shop it takes 10 minutes to walk there.

It's an easy walk, plus busses go between the two hotels. I believe that the DTD bus goes from Jambo to Kidani. All park buses go from Kidani to Jambo. Just make sure you get on the right bus going to and from and you'll be fine.

It is an easy walk from our room near the tennis courts at KV it was just about 10min to the Mara.

Just make sure you get on the right bus going to and from and you'll be fine.

Last time I was at Sanaa, I had parked at Jambo house and walked to Kidani. Did not feel like walking back after dinner, so I got on the first bus that pulled up, expecting to take the brief bus ride back to Jambo. Unfortunately, it was a DTD bus, but I did not realize this until after the bus started moving. So, even though we were still on the AKL property, the driver could not stop and let me off (against the rules). Thus, I got to ride all the way to DTD, when all I wanted was to go that short distance to Jambo House.

So, this is good advice - make sure you get on the right bus!

Easy walk between Jambo House & Kidani or hop on the DTD bus. Returning to JH hop on any park bus.

Our party of 3 adults (1 adventurous eater 1 middle of the road eater & 1 picky eater) & 1 child loved this restaurant. It was dark when we dined so the window seat & seeing animals was a non-issue.

Our table split the salad sampler & bread service. Everyone loved their entrees. 1 sustainable fish & 2 of us had 1/2 beef short ribs & 1/2 shrimp with green curry & basmati rice. 1 desert sampler, 1 pressed coffee & 1 pressed tea. Delish.

Excellent food & outstanding service. Can't wait to go back.

Very walkable. Takes maybe 10 minutes and seems "downhill" from Kidani back to Jambo. The heat may be your only issue if you are visiting this summer.
