Which would you pick and why?

I'm getting ready to make reservations for our trip and are torn between these three. What do you love and hate about each of them?

We'll be OOP with DDE. We've done CG a few times and love it but skipped it the last trip. We haven't been to the other two.

Our current fave disney restaurants are Jiko and Flying Fish if that helps to let you know what we like.

TIA :goodvibes

I would pick bluezoo.

Ca Grill has good food and I do enjoy their sushi but this place is so noisy and crowded. We just ate here again a few weeks ago and had to wait 50 minutes past our ADR time for a table and we didn't make any special requests that would have prolonged the wait (this was on a Monday night in January). The atmosphere is not enjoyable when it's that busy and noisy. We actually carried on a conversation with the people at the next table because they were sitting so close that it was as if we were sharing a table.

Narcoosees. Not a fan of the food here. Doesn't compare to either FF or bluezoo. Also, it's not very upscale, nothing about it screams special to me.

bluezoo seems to have a bit more of an adult clientele and the Dolphin is a nice resort that you would probably not visit unless you were staying there. It's the only one of the 3 I have booked for our May trip.

It's absolutely my favorite and definitely the most romantic. The best part is being there during Wishes and catching the electric water parade as it goes by your table, Naroossee's is over the water. If I could recommend one thing is the 'Year of A Million Dreams' Almond Encrusted Cheesecake... hands down the best dessert I've ever had in my life and I hate nuts. It's also the prettiest, there's a really beautiful sugar screen of Cinderella and Prince Charming behind the cheesecake.

Jiko is one my other favorites also as well as Concourse Steakhouse.

Wow IHEARTNY, I'm really glad I made my ADR for Narcoosee's yesterday for our July trip. And I already know what I'm having for dessert...

The title of your thread is hilarious!:rotfl:

We love CG and Narcoosees! Have never tried BZ - I always forget about it but doesn't it get good reviews? CG has consistently good food and service everytime we've been there. I like Narcoosees because it is right on the water and the food was really good, too. Both have WISHES views. Mabye since you've done CG it would be fun to try one of the others! Did you consider Citricos?
Hope this helps!:)

Don't forget you can't use DDE at Blue Zoo--. However, it's a much better restaurant than Narcoossee's.
Actually I prefer CG over both of those, but since you've been, I suppose Blue Zoo would be my choice. We have eaten at all 3 multiple times in the past.

Of the three my vote would be for CG-it is our favorite casual dining at Disney. We've dined at all three places you are considering and even had our wedding reception held at Narcoossee's (chosen more for location and size than the menu, but still excellent food).

We went to BZ for the first time in October 2007 and had a horrific experience. Our waitress was clumsy, forgetful and to top it off an absolute witch. The food was good, but honestly the service and nasty attitidue totally overshadowed any enjoyment we may have otherwise gotten out of the meal. Yes, do not make the mistake of asking if they take DDE-our waitress got completely bent out of shape when I innocently asked if it was honored there. She went on this whole diatribe about how they are not owned by Disney, but by Starwood and that they pay a lot of money in rent to Disney each month to be there, so they do not accept discount programs. (It was said to us in a gauled tone like we had asked for chicken fingers in a five star restaurant or something). While her explanation I'm sure is true, I thought it was terribly inappropriate to convey it like that to a customer and is just indicative of our overall experience there. A simple, "no, I'm sorry but we don't accept it here as we are not a Disney owned restaurant" would have sufficed. Maybe down the road we will try it again, but it sure will be a while. Good luck whatever your decision! :thumbsup2

Especially if you are eating dessert during the fireworks :lovestruc

Wonderful!

Narcoossee's would be our last choice...the food is not on par with any of the other signature restaurants.

Easily bluezoo. Their won't be as many kiddo's, it's a hip, fun atmosphere, the service is unparrelled and the food is better than the others.

bluezoo, without a doubt.

My vote is for bluezoo :D

Between the other 2, it's a toss up for me. I had nice experiences at both, just not really rushing to go back. Bluezoo is worth the rush :)

We just returned on the 19th. Blue Zoo was hands down the best place we have eaten at disney so far. I had the clam chowder which was really good and the simply fish, mahi mahi. It was fantastic. My brother had the Miso glazed chilean sea bass and it was melt in your mouth good. We then split the strawberry tart my way desert. It was three types of desert on one plate. A napolean, some sort of chocolate desert with strawberry sorbet and and candied strawberry. It was fantastic. I will visit here each trip. I do notice that the menu is a little different than on allearsnet.com but our main dishes were still on the menu. My husband normally dosent go to disney with me however, if he were and I wanted a quite romantic spot I would pic here. Even when you take a walk outside of the doliphin it is a beautiful area. We rode the boat to epcot after this and the this epcot resort area is beautiful and we have decided to stay in one of these resorts on our next trip.

We love Narcoosee's and have had great food, service and atmosphere every time!!! Matter of facr, when we return in Sept. we plan to dine at Narcoosee's two times that week. We will also be trying CG for the first time!

Thank you :thumbsup2 As I started to post I was thinking how fortunate I am to be able decide between great places for dinner. DH and I use the term all the time.

Wishes will be too late in the evening the whole time we're there to see it from any restaurant. Thanks for all the suggestions, now I think I'm leaning toward blue zoo but might switch to narcoosees

my vote would be BZ, with CG & narcoose's in a tie for 2nd.
both CG & narcooses are definately better than many WDW eateries, but in our opinion, not of the same caliber as a fine restaurant elsewhere.
of course, adding V&A's to your choices would probably make the decision easier......;)
