Hi - I am an early planner :rotfl:

We are going to Disney World March 25-31 2012, with Free Dining at CBR. This will be our second trip as a family, the last one was in Jan 2010 at POFQ.

I have a 5yo dd princess: and a ds, who will celebrate his 4th birthday on March 28th. pirate: Also a somewhat reluctant dh

Here is my plan so far:

Date / Park / ADR
Sun / Resort / None
Mon / MK / 8:35am Crystal Palace Breakfast (not sure about this one)
Tues / Epcot / 7:00 pm Le Cellier Dinner (we did this last time, is it worth two credits?)
Weds / Animal Kingdom / 8:10am Tuskerhouse Breakfast
Thurs / DHS / Sci Fi?
Fri / MK / BBB at 8:10am, 6:40pm 1900 Park Fare Dinner
Sat / Epcot / 8:30am Akserhaus Breakfast

Any suggestions? Last time, we ate at Cinderella's Castle, so I thought maybe we could get away with skipping this one. I would like at least one meal that dh really would enjoy, hence the Le Cellier reservation.

Last time, we also ate at: Ohana, Akserhaus, 50's Primetime Café, and Boma.

Thanks so much for your help! :cheer2:

Epcot and the resorts have alot of great choices. My suggestions would be:
1. Yachtsman's Steakhouse at the Yacht Club is good for husband-types and food is really good. I think it's much better than Le Cellier
2. Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge has great breakfast & BBQ - in all-you-can-eat skillets. No costumed characters, but plenty of characters :lmao:. Just go and trust me on this, it will become your favorite!
3. Beirgarten in Epcot, Germany. There is music and dancing :dance3: for the kids and the buffet has a lot of different food selections that will please everyone.
4. If you have never been to it, the Hoop-De-Doo Review is really good and the food again is all-you-can-eat. Volunteer your DH and he will never forget it!
Enjoy!:thumbsup2

Wow sounds very similiar to what we just did! Got back 10-1 :goodvibes My suggestion would be do Le Cellier for lunch, only 1 credit and the menu looked pretty close to the dinner. It was awesome!!! We also did Tusker for breakfast, great! Did Crystal Palace, great! We did Sci Fi, don't question it! My 2 little one, 4 and 1 LOVED it! Food was great! Really really liked the shrimp pasta :) What about T-Rex? Not on dining but was so cool! Your dinner plan looks great so far! We enjoyed all the places, good food and good service!

I would probably drop the 2 TSD Le Cellier and find a 1 TS Epcot restaurant since there are so many good places there. What is it about Le Cellier that your husband enjoys? Steaks? Seems like several restaurants have good steak.

I, personally, don't think that Le Cellier is worth 2 credits. It's overrated. We did it 2 years ago, before it was 2 credits. I thought DH would love it. He didn't think it was that great. I'm not a steak eater. I didn't like it at all, but I expected that going in.

our favorite character breakfast is Cape May , hands down best food and the character interaction has always been great , it is much less rushed and better quality than CP
if you are looking for a DHS restaurant , I reccomend mama melrose , the food is just way better than sci-fi , may make hubby happier than being squished into a car in the dark sci fi restaurant with mediocre food
tusker house is a great breakfast as is park fare
le cellier is 2 credits for supper , you may want to rebook for lunch or choose one of the other fantastic epcot loctions

have a great trip , happy planning

Mondays tend to be busy at MK, and Tuesdays at EPCOT. I'd flip those two days (and the ADR's, of course). I'm not sure how busy it will be your week, though. March, generally, isn't very busy...so you're probably all right. Just my two cents....

Other than that, your plans and choice of ADR looks good to me. :thumbsup2

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I will keep working on it. So far, here are the changes I made:

Date / Park / ADR
Sun / Resort / None
Mon / MK / 8:15am Crystal Palace Breakfast (kept this but made it earlier so we can get out and enjoy the park - anyone have thoughts on this vs. Chef Mickey's?)
Tues / Epcot / 7:00 pm Biergarten Restaurant
Weds / Animal Kingdom / 8:10am Tuskerhouse Breakfast
Thurs / DHS / 12:10pm Sci Fi
Fri / MK / BBB at 8:10am, 6:40pm 1900 Park Fare Dinner
Sat / Epcot / 8:15am Akserhaus Breakfast (made this earlier as well)

Still considering swapping out Sci Fi for a meal at one of the resorts, so I need to play around a little more. Also considering DrDoofenshmirt's suggestion to swap MK and Epcot days. By the way, awesome screen name!

stitchaholic - thanks for the suggestions on Mama Melrose - I need to go check out their menu. Dh is crazy but he's not a big Italian food fan. I thought the kids would think the car eating was fun, though.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the help!
