I'm trying to compile a list of the BCV studio room #s and comments. I'd really appreciate anyone's comments-room #, view, noisy?, anything. Please! And don't forget your room reports!

DW, DS and I went during the last week in February and stayed in 463. The room had an extemely large patio. It actually wrapped around the outside corner of the building.

Our view overlooked the service road that runs under the canal that runs to the International Gateway.

While the view wasn't great, we could see some of the fireworks from Illuminations, though I wouldn't recommend that for actually viewing them.

The room however was very clean and I would say quite comfortalbe and quiet, even with the road just outside.

561 - great view of Spaceship Earth - I think this was a dedicated studio - no connecting door that I remember. Of course you also have the road.

Room 566 - studio with looong, large entryway all the way at the end of the 5th floor hall (which is not the same as the other floors). This room was right around the corner from the other elevator. Large, triangular balcony in one of the corner "turets" overlooking the quiet pool and the canal. Quite lovely and quiet. The only noise in the room came from the elevator, which we were stupid enough not to know about until the day before we left. We thought the noise was the air conditioning or something. Still, not loud enough to be disturbing and certainly wasn't going to wake us up at night. Now those lights on the balcony, on the other hand...

560, not a dedicated studio, extremely noisy! We figured that the mechanism for the elevator was located directly above this room. It was so noisy every time someone called for the elevator (which was very frequently!). We changed studios after the 1st night because of this, and the guy who moved our bags said that he frequently hears that complaint about that studio  The upside to this studio was the balcony! It was a double-sized balcony, shaped like a triangle. It was huge! It overlooked the BCV pool and the canal. Great view :)

After the first night, we moved to 550. It was also not a dedicated studio, but it was a quiet location. I guess that the noise level in this studio depends on how quiet your neighbors are...we only had 1 night of hearing noise come through the connecting door. This studio had a direct view of Spaceship Earth, and a very clear view of Illuminations fireworks off to the righthand side of the balcony.

Simba's Mom -

Hope it is ok I tag on here too! I've been trying to get everyone to report on the room report log and have only seen 3 additions in 2 weeks. Maybe compiling a list is better and we can make it a thread or even possibly get a mod to put it at the top of the page so we could all have this great reference.

I would be willing to compile for BWV if anyone wants to e-mail or PM me there room info. I think we had said - room size (dedicated or not), handicapped or not, view, distance from elev., floor, any patio issues (none, double, etc.) additional comments.

Thanks
Sandy

Studio #549 overlooks tall trees and the BC back pathway to Epcot. I could see tops of the Swan, Dolphin and Eiffel Tower; partial view of Illuminations. It's a long walk from the elevators but very quiet.

#412 is close to the elevators and right near the laundry room. It has a tiny balcony with a small table and 2 chairs, and a lovely view of the quiet pool. Non-smoking. Great, convenient location.

I really enjoyed being in the studio 416 last July. I think we were actually the first people to live in the room!

I thought it was an excellent location, we had a lovely view over the pool, I was straight across the hall from the laundry, so could nip across in seconds to check the washers and move it to the driers. It was so close we were as well being in a 1br or 2br with own laundry facilities.

Also, it was just next to the lifts, so no long haul along the corridors to find your room.

I must say that I would definitely request this one again !!

Mary Kay, we were lucky -- another poster (TwinMom?) just had a heckuva time in a room close to this location -- had a terrible infestation of stinging ants! Yikes -- we were there for opening on July 1st and the place was gorgeous! I can't imagine any ant daring to enter! We were in #412 and I thought it was perfect, so close to elevators and laundry.

See you at WDW.

Room 275 - way, way, way at the end - maybe two doors from the end of the building.

Pro - excellent view of Epcot for fireworks at night - 375 or 475 up higher would have probably been better. Also, very close to the stairwell at the end so you can go right to the parking lot quickly.

Con - it was a hike from the main building! After two or three times down the hallway it was enough! It was right in the back overlooking the small bridge before the underpass to BWV - so you did hear the buses going by periodically. Also, the fridge - the icebox needed a serious defrosting. It was so bad the door had trouble closing.

But, all in all it was very good - we always enjoy ourselves at BC. This was our 3rd time in the past 9 years.

133 Dedicated studio. View of wetlands, Epcot, and BC. Could see some fireworks at Illuminations through the trees. Very quiet. Next to a CM's room. Had requested pool view but loved this location. Just a few doors down from rotunda. Very convenient to go to quiet pool or out to BC.

555 - dedicated studio, NS

regular balcony
nice illuminations fw view
close to the pool/parking lot elevator

road noise from below but it didn't bother us.
annoying 5th floor patio light thing

528 - handicapped room. We requested a change, so didn't stay here. I do recall that the balcony was fairly good size, but oddly shaped. Triangular, it seems to me??

427 - close to the elevator. Wetlands/woods view, but also a GREAT view of Illuminations. We could hear the music very clearly from the balcony. I think this might have been a smoking room, but if it was it was very fresh smelling. We loved this room, and would gladly stay there again.

I'll have to look up the 3rd floor room number I had in Feb. I'm almost sure it was #375. Overlooked the road, partial view of Spaceship Earth, decent view of Illuminations. VERY far from elevator. Not a great location, but hey! We were at Disney. Ultimately, what's not to like? ;)

Just arrived home last night from dvc studio, room #422. Room was nice and clean. Great veiw of the fireworks from Epcot. Very quite never heard a soul. 4th floor non-smoking, just down the hall from elevators. Over looks a small court yard, I believe they call is a garden view, i didn't see any flowers
