I want go ahead and purchase my dvc annual passes online before Sunday just in case the price increases. Should I select will call or have them standard shipped? I want to be able to link them asap since I am already in my fast pass planning window.

I had them mailed to me (free, took less than a week to Arizona). They are green plastic (like credit card) "exchange tickets". The purchase appeared in my MDE immediately, so no numbers to register. With all the glitches that have occured (though I will say they seem to be getting a bit less frequent), I just feel better having something in my hand before I leave home.

I purchased the annual passes on-line (following the link from the DVC site), gave the DVC discount and set it up for will call. Had the email confirmation when I completed the transaction and will pick them up when we go later this year. It was very easy. We will see how much it saved tomorrow...

Do you think the prices on annual passes will go up tomorrow as well?

No one will have a definite answer, but my best guess is yes, all tickets usually go up at the same time. If you are planning to buy it anyway, I'd do it now if you have the funds. No one knows how much the increase will be, but if you go look at the history, it is typically in the $25 range.

Just bought ours online as well. Chose will call, and they were automatically linked to our MDE account at the end of the transaction.

If I purchase them today but don't plan to use them until fall - when would they expire? After the first use? Or one year after purchase? We are going for 10 days in the fall and I'm trying to plan a few other trips too.

As for will call vs mailing them - I think I'd mail them. That way they are in hand before you leave and you have nothing to worry about! :)

After activation.

And they do not mail actual AP's, but rather they are exchange cards. You will still have to go to a ticket window or guest services to activate.

That's what I did in December. It automatically appeared in MDE, I didn't have to do anything. Since shipping was free, I did it that way since I'm not going until next December.

What if we already bought tickets............can we call and upgrade them to an annual pass?

You might call to confirm, but I don't think so......though maybe they'll do it now that everything is in MDE and there aren't physical tickets to contend with. Worth a call, but do it now before the prices go up.
