Help me with airfare please!!!

Hi, I am attempting to take my family to Disney World in either early August or late Septemeber and I am having a hard time with airfare prices. We will be flying out of Las Vegas and the cheapest I can seem to find is around $350 a person. Does that sound right?? We haven't been for years and I was really hoping to be able to go this year but don't think I can justify the $1400 it will take to get us there. Any help or advice with airlines, or days to book or even how to travel would be so appreciated. I would like to spend around $1000 at the most for the four of us. Thanks so much for any advice!!

I think you should be able to do better. There are lots of airlines that fly into LAS and to MCO. Try changing days around. I just check a week in August and got 411 tried on in September and got 266. Try using this site.

That's pretty much what it's running on Southwest for PHX>MCO>PHX for that time period, as well. There are other airlines serving the same route, but most of them require a significant layover or are routed to out-of-the-way hubs. And, frankly, none are significantly less expensive!

Check to see which airlines fly the LAS>MCO>LAS route. I'm guessing you'll have at least a couple more good (schedule & route) options than we do in PHX. The McCarren International Airport website should provide of list of carriers, and you can check the routes of the primary ones.

I check on the link that I posted and at least on the two days I tried only SW flew nonstop LAS to MCO. This may not be true everyday but SW was coming in at $350 on those days.
