Hi,
man, i can relate...i've been in situations similar to yours but not exactly the same....one time my brother was going to be at wdw at roughly the same time (overlap of like a day or two) and they wanted to meet and we really didn't want to. We are very on time people. They are quite the opposite and it drives us NUTS and somehow we avoided it but it's SO sticky! Recently, my in-laws hinted at wanting to take my girls (ages 4 and 2) on a wdw cruise (as in them taking my girls without me or my husband, i think not)...i had no problem saying absolutely not for a variety of reasons....i've learned it slowly through the years but i've become really unshy about making our needs as a family clear. We do not compromise that wdw is "our" time (immediate family of 5) and we do not bring along other people for any reason...such a recipe for diseaster! Also, understand it gives people the idea they can compromise your boundaries...that's so unfair to you. So be strong and JUST SAY NO.
