Help me with a plan of action

DH thinks I'm worrying about this too much and he's probably right  but not being familiar with the area I'd like a plan of action for our first day there. The rest of the days I'm not worried about.

We will be driving down in June. We decided to add an extra day to our trip so we can rest up before hitting the parks. So first day (Sunday) will be at ASMo. We won't have park tickets so we'll be doing DTD. The "fun" begins Monday.

Monday morning we'll have to check out early (7'ish?) and transfer over to AKL to get our tickets. Our two DD are booked on the GF pirate cruise so they need to be over there at I think 9:15am. The GF is on the monorail right? So would it be better to drive them over to the GF or hop a bus to Epcot( I think that's the closet to AKL :confused3 ) and take the monorail there?

Now, while the girls are off looting pirate: We will have DS2 with us. He loves trains so I was thinking of maybe taking him on the monorail (hoping to get him with with the driver). How many stops are on the line and how long does it take to make the loop? Are there any other things that may keep him occupied at GF if we decide to just wait for them?

Next, DH thinks once the girls are done we should go back to AKL and see if we have our room (we figure it probably won't be ready first thing in the morning) I was thinking maybe grabbing lunch at one of the parks since I'm sure my girls aren't going to be thrilled with the pb&j from the cruise. Then we could look around a bit before heading back to AKL for check in and dinner at Boma (5:20 PS). Then we'll be going to MK for Spectro and Wishes.
Boy! that sounds like a lot of running :)

Oh and it's all this boards fault too! If I hadn't seen the pirate cruise for the girls we would have just spent the day at Disney Studios. :teeth:

Hi! I think your plan sounds great. I could be wrong, but if you're coming from AKL and going to the Grand Floridian I would say that your best bet is to take the bus to TTC and take the monorail to the GF. I'm not sure how the bus scheduling is or what stops they make, so you might have to do a little research on that. Good luck. I'm sure you'll all have a wonderful time!

If you're going to board the monorail at the TTC, it loops around and stops at either the Poly or Contemporary first..depending on the direction. It should only take a little while..maybe 10 mins or so..unless it's really busy. If that's the case, it'll take longer for people to board and disembark than it usually does.

I'm sure he'll love the monorails.
