We'll be at Universal/IOA for 2 days in October (Sat and Sun of Columbus Day weekend which I'm sure will be crowded). I really wanted to book Royal Pacific for the FOTL access, but it's $209 plus tax. We have enough Hilton Honors points to stay in the Hampton Inn for free. So I was thinking we could get the Universal Express Plus passes for $15.98 x 2 days x 4 people plus the parking fee so $144. We're still $65 ahead. I know we'll only get FOTL once per ride, but since our youngest is too short for many things, I figure my older DD and DH could use our passes while we do Barney repeatedly. Is this logical or am I missing something?

Ok, you are assuming that the Express Plus passes are going to only be $15 each for that weekend. However, keep in mind that it really may be busy being that in alot of cases its a holiday weekend. Your best bet is to call 800-UESCAPE and see if you can order them ahead of time. This way you'll know up front if you will really and truly be saving money.

Have fun!

Yes, according to the order form on their website, $15.98 is the price for those particular dates. I plan to order them in the next week or so.
