Help me think this through.

We have 5 nights of hotel and the dining plan that gives you TS and QS per day.
I have 8 dining credits TS booked. This is the research I have done. I only listed adult cost for the meal we have chosen.

1900 Park - $50
Liberty tree - $15-35
Akershus - $50
Coral Reef - $60
CRT - $62
50s prime time- $15-35
Yak and Yeti - $15-35

We need to charge 3 separate from the dining plan. I am thinking to pay CRT out of pocket because it costs 2 dining credits for a breakfast and seems like the worst value. I will save the other OOp because we may cancel a reservation closer to the end of the week and just use QS for that meal.

Does that make sense to all of you?

Where did you get $60 for Coral Reef? The highest price entrée is $32, and they do have a Prix Fix that is $45.

Anyway, depending on how many adults you have, you may want to do some mixing and matching. At Liberty Tree, Coral, 50s and Yak and Yeti, have one adult use DDP and one pay OOP. The DDP user is the one with the most expensive entrée. Then you can share the dessert.

CRT breakfast is a good choice for OOP, but you may end up spending less than $31 at the other 4 a la cartes. Look at the menus and do the math.

Is that Candlelight Processional or some other package at Coral Reef? Otherwise the price seems way off.

I think you're on the right track about CRT. Breakfast there is a terrible use of TS credits.

I'd leave Yak & Yeti as the other OOP meal because it is one of those places where an appetizer might sound better than an entree, so it is a good place to have more flexibility than the DDP allows. Sharing at 50s Prime Time also works well if you're looking to stretch credits - the sampler in particular is enough for two to share, especially if you order an appetizer OOP to go with it.

Maybe I read the wrong price for coral reef. I checked menus but the prix fixe never gave a price on the MDE app. So thanks for the information.
Thanks to replies. I will keep all ideas in mind.

I'd figure out what you're going to most likely eat. I know CRT is TS credits, but that basically breaks down to $31/credit that you're paying for there. If you're going to order stuff closer to the $15 rate at the 3 lower cost TS, then you'd save more money paying for those out of pocket. Don't forget you can do lots of sharing from places that aren't buffets etc.

You can share meals at Liberty tree (if lunch), Coral Reef, 50s prime time & Yak and Yeti. I'd share meals at all of these places and possibly supplement with an appetizer if need be.
