Help me surprise my family - gift baskets!

We are heading down in a few weeks and I really want to do a few different secret little gift baskets throughout our visit, a welcome basket for my DD3, a anniversary basket for my hubby, and just a few other little surprises here and there. I need your help/ideas - I'd like to keep things frugal and it all has to be things I can smuggle down in my suitcase..

Here is what I have so far:

Welcome Basket for DD3
- welcome letter from Princesses (DIY)
- purple minnie ears
- pin trading lanyard (she gets it and loves it!) (ebay)
- new autograph book (disneystore, coupon)
- custom sippy cup with mouse ears/name (friend cut vinyl for me)
- mickey snacks with custom bag toppers (DIY)
- new stuffed friend?
- matching dresses or shirts for her and DD8months
- window decorating kit (DIY)

For Hubby...
we're pastors and don't drink or anything
- new star wars pin set (thinking of leaving one everyday as a surprise)
- love letter (it is our anniversary )
- a few favorite snacks?
- happy anniversary buttons?
- _________________ (help! i'm out of ideas!)

Random stuff throughout the week...
- letters inviting DD to character meals (DIY)
- letter from Cinderella on BBB day along with new dress/accessories kit
- minnie mouse halloween stuff (coloring book, stickers) for MNSSHP day
- ____________

Hit me with your best ideas please! I never ever manage to pull off a surprise, ever, so I want this to be an EPIC week!

What a wonderful mommy and wife you are. You already have lots of ideas I would not have thought of. Maybe you could add Disney boxers or pajamas to your DH bag. Also, how about a Disney toothbrush or pajama set for DD3?

What a wonderful idea.
My thought is during the night, lay something out for your DD (and or husband) as a hint for what is scheduled for that day. Example - something from Toy Story for Hollywood Studios, a stuffed animal for Animal Kingdom. Or even something to give them a hint on where you are eating that day. The small bean bag charactors at the Disney Store are easy to pack or even T-shirts.

that is so cute! i can probably even smuggle some she already owns, she has so stinking many she probably won't even notice!

I love that you're doing something for your DH, too. My DH isn't as excited about this trip as I am, so I would love to do something like that for him. He does collect pins - maybe I'll see if I can pick up a couple of cool ones to put a special smile on his face.

I do have packages for the kids that I'm going to send to arrive before we get there. BC IPO has told me that they'll put them in the room after our arrival, so I'm going to put them inside a big box filled with fun paper and such. DS9 and DD7 will each get a new beach bag filled with a new beach towel, a Mickey water bottle, new Stitch pin (as he is their favorite character), gift card (so they can pick out, and plan for, their own souvenirs). May put a few other things in there, too, but not sure what else yet.

For your DD: sunglasses, flipflops for the pool, stuffed animal, PJs, swimsuit, swim cover up. definitely check disneystore.com. Lots of the swim stuff is on sale and the coverup you can buy a size ahead or larger and that's something she could wear for a while. Same with the PJs if a simple nightgown/shirt. Like a little lunch bag is on sale online for $6!

For your DH: memory card for digital camera, special candy he likes, sunglasses, sunscreen, mints, gum, travel tums (hey, it's rich food down there!), a Disney frame for a lovely family pic of all of you, fun disney hat or shirt, maybe a Christmas ornament of a famous disney couple to celebrate your anniversary trip!
