Help me save money on food.

tar heel, I'm how will buying all your gas at a gas station save money? Where else can you get it? Was this a typo? Sometimes my computer types things that I'm not even thinking

LOL, I thought the same thing, then I realized she probably meant only buy GAS at the gas station - as in no snacks, drinks, etc. Just gas up and go.....

This just in::: My dh made it very clear he wants to stay on site and he doesn;t want me to look at off site places. He said that this is a once in a life time trip of this magnitude and he wants to experience the whole thing!

I am happy but we will be spending a little more to do so but that is ok. We have a budget of 5k hopefully more if I can swing it.

We have been saving for a long time for this and he just wants everything. I will be booking fri.

It will be 852 with out tax. however my dd was already getting a room and she will pay for one i will pay for the other. I ma paying for her tix so she can put 2 of her bros in her room. It will be me, dh our 4 boys and my dd with her bf. So 8 people. It don;t mind if we don;t have connecting rooms as they are all older.

Is the $852 for both rooms without tax? If tax is added, will it be about $950? If so, as the other posters have mentioned, you might consider doing DVC rental (I know someone who has points for $10/point). Animal Kingdom villas (two value studios) is 104 points. Saratoga Springs is 128 points. OKW is 112 points (for two studios). So, it could be between $1040 - 1280. Each of the studios comes with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The studios have one queen bed and one sofa fed (although OKW might have two queens).

I would definitely look at the DVC option. Occasionally you can find someone renting for less than $12 a point as well.

I love POP and am staying there next month but with a large group you might be more comfortable at a DVC resort. As well the laundry facilitates are no charge there (or at least they weren't when I was there).

It's more of a suite type room vs a standard hotel room.
