Hello! So I have had the plan to propose to my girlfriend with a scavenger hunt when we go in May. We go around the same time as our anniversary so I was going to have each clue be a different pandora charm leading up to the ring. However, it turns out the other person we are going with has never been to Epcot so I don't want to detract from his trip or lead them in the wrong direction seeing that I would need someone with my girlfriend to help them through the clues and stuff.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to do a scavenger hunt where she can get clues while I'm with her or another way to get clues out there? I contacted Gifts of a Lifetime but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

So yes, any suggestions to how I can make this happen?

If this is something SHE would enjoy (scavenger hunt, pandora things, public proposal...all things which make me shudder to think about for me), why not just have the clues be very very simple? Last thing you would want is for anyone to get frustrated and irritated while doing this. Since you've been there before (I am assuming from your words) you likely have old maps, so go by them and make it all simple-simple. I see no need to *put* clues anywhere, just say you found this funny quiz or something, and go ahead and do it. Or maybe participate in Agent P and just go along with that with charms?

Of course, after the second charm she's going to know what is going on, so I think probably the 3rd charm is going to have to be the ring.

If you're flying, think about where you put the ring during security. Don't want to be panicking for what seems like no reason, unless you have a backup plan of proposing during the TSA experience.

Well I'm going to say it's just a different way of giving her the anniversary present so hopefully she won't catch on because I have more than three charms. I like the idea of the quiz though. I could possibly do that.

Luckily we're driving so I don't have to worry about losing the ring or someone finding it.

Thanks for the tips!

There are all sorts of YouTube videos of folks proposing at disney if you need ideas! I do recall a couple with a scavenger hunt. One was at the grand Floridian and the other in the magic kingdom theme park.

Here are a couple of my favorites:

The author of disney tourist blog proposed to his wife on the beach at the Poly and timed it to the start of wishes so the photos of him down on one knee have the fireworks in the background. He wrote a blog post on it if you need some tips and ideas for a proposal: http://www.disneytouristblog.com/disney-world-engagement/

Best of luck! Just have fun with it and make sure the proposal fits to the personality of your girlfriend. Like the previous poster said, some wouldn't like a big fuss with lots of people around and others would relish in it.
