I'm a slacker mom. We will be in DL on Wednesday. Last time we went I spent so much time preparing. This time I am waiting until now to get everything together. I also put together a gift bag when we got there waiting in the room (I snuck it up). I don't have much time between now and then to do much but can anyone recommend some ideas of putting together a gift bag for a 6 and 7 year old? They aren't into princesses anymore either. :(. Thank you in advance.

Tinkerbell always leaves my dd a bag with a new nightgown, character t -shirt, gum, candy, snacks, glow necklaces, flip flops and whatever else I can find!

Excellent ideas! When are you planning to give it (I like the "return to the hotel room surprise") and where are you staying? Does your hotel have turn-down (like the GCH)? Last time we stayed at the GCH, we saw the mousekeeper in the hall and I told her about the bags and she did a really cute display with them.

If you aren't giving it until late, you can be a rock star by getting some stuff in the park like a light spinner, autograph book, a gift card loaded with their own allowance money, etc.

Last night i was thinking of this very thing.:goodvibes

hhhhmmm... how about some disney bucks or a disney gift card so they can shop.. that's a big girl thing to do. Or a few pins to trade... our dollar store had cute hannah montanna mini lunch boxes with a few pieces of candy in it. Or a cute bracelet, we saw lots of vinyl ones at the park.

And what about including some of their favorite snacks, Disney lollipops too.

Now, I need to know what to do for my parents for our christmas trip.

I was also thinking about a little tree with ornaments and lights.

But where would i find them at this time of year.

Do you have a mall close that has a Christmas decoration or ornament shop? If s, they have the Christmas stuff year round. Also, some dollar stores or close out stores may still have some left over Christmas stuff. Might check and it will be dirt cheap there.
Good luck!

Thank you everyone for your wonderful suggestions. I am going to go to Target and the dollar store tomorrow. I'll let you know what I come up with.
