Our family of 5 is planning a dream vacation, flying into Paris in late May. We have 4 days to visit Paris and DLP before taking some kind of train to Barcelona for 2 back-to-back 7-day Disney Cruises. After the cruises, we are staying 2 days in Barcelona before flying home. All I have booked so far is the flight to Paris, the cruises, and the flight home. I need help with what to do, where to stay, and how to travel. Our kids are 21, 17, 14, and while we are all seasoned Disney Cruise, WDW, and DL travelers, we are clueless about Europe. Your help is so appreciated!

Hi there! We have similar plans. We are taking the 7 nt Mediterranean cruise on the Magic that embarks on 6/7/14 out of Barcelona. Sounds like you will also be on that cruise and on the one the week before (WOW!). We are actually flying into Paris before arriving to Barcelona. Staying only 2 nts (wish we could've squeezed in more time), but the good news is that we arrive in the AM on the arrival day in Paris and won't leave until the PM on our last day in Paris. We hope to get in 1 full day in central/old Paris, and then two 1/2 days at DLP. Not ideal, but it's the best we could do with the flight times we had available. Right now, I have NO reservations to stay at a DLP resort which makes me nervous. I made a call into the DLP reservation center (an international call), and they said US consumers can't start making online or phone reservations for a June 2014 date until Feb. 7th. So, I'm waiting until Feb. 7th and will jump on it! You could go ahead and book something through the UK DLP site, but personally I'm a little leery to do that just yet. People much more versed than me on DLP insist that the UK site has the better offers, but right now their only offer on the UK's site for June/Summer is the "Book Early/Save Big" deal where you can book 4-5 nights and get 2 of those nights free! Big savings for you potentially, but not an option for me. I also need to choose a Barcelona hotel. That is something to do very soon as well. I did book our flights months ago. We are flying on easyJet from Paris to Barcelona. It was actually cheaper to fly rather than train. I'll keep you and others posted on this thread as I start making DLP reservations and plans.

Thanks for the info. I look forward to sharing our plans with you, too! I'm looking a the new high speed train from Paris to Barcelona. It takes 6h 25 minutes, and costs about 500 euro for our family of 5. Let's keep sharing here. Thanks!
