My daughters 4th birthday is Tuesday Sept 30, our last day at Disney. I got a 1:20pm ADR at Akershus because she is going to die of happiness. I'm not changing this reservation. :)

We have Park Hopper tickets and I thought it would be a good day to hit MK again and go back to our favorite rides (two kids, DD will be 4 and DS 10) and hit anything we missed.

We're already doing Epcot on the first day but I don't know if we'll have time to do World Showcase that day. So would it be best to do MK rope drop until 11ish, hop over to Epcot and do World Showcase, lunch, finish WS and maybe hit MK again in the evening? Or just go straight to WS, leave after lunch and MK later in the afternoon? I just don't know how long we'll spend traveling or how long it will take us to see the World Showcase.

Maybe MK first. I don't think WS opens until 11 if that's what you wanted to see at Epcot.

MK will likely be open before the WS so I would hit MK 1st - or even AK 1 more time (if you like this park, we do so therefor my reasoning) then hop to Epcot for lunch & WS, then MK as a finish up.

Last days are always about getting in that last dose of the "must do's" for us. We always start our trips at MK and end them there as well. Something to be said about the last look at WDW is the castle *sigh*

While I wouldn't get rid of your reservation I would contemplate moving it to the last time slot available for lunch if that was your meal preference. I recommend that based on the fact that it will give you more time to not be rushed. If MK opens at 8/9am, you could get in 1/2 a day at MK then hop to Epcot (which doesn't open till 11ish anyway) for a later lunch ADR and finish the day at Epcot. If your reservation wasn't until say 3:30/4:00 you would have plenty of time to wander the world after dinner. I would not want to "waste" my day hopping MK to Epcot to MK.

Given your scenario, my choice would be:

Epcot EMH opens at 8am. I would start here and try to bump your ADR up to the 1st available lunch ADR (11:00-11:30ish). Do last rides on Mission Space, Test Track, etc., go to lunch. Finish whatever you haven't done in WS - you should have been able to get some of the world done on your 1st day (I would think). Maybe plan your 1st Epcot day to see more of the WS than the front end so you could reverse that plan on your last day - see front end then finish WS on last day.

Hop to MK mid day - 4pm-ish. Finish day off at MK (closes at 9pm) with fireworks, last minute must do rides, shows, etc.

I've been trying to move it but it's all booked. It would be a lot better with an earlier ADR, I wouldn't feel compelled to do all the hopping!

I'll keep trying and hopefully something will open up.

I would do MK at RD till 11 then WS for the rest of the day.

I don't know if you want to make an ADR for dinner, but I'd make one in WS and finish up the trip there.

I'd let the kids each pick their must re-dos in MK to take care of that issue.

Then the rest of your day in WS can be leisurely. There are lots of characters for your kids to see in WS. I'd make that a priority, and also put the emphasis on lots of cool snacks/treats - pastries in France and Norway, sweet crepes in France, Kaki Gori in Japan, Gelato in Italy, Funnel Cakes in America, etc.

There's also Maelstrom and the Mexico boat ride, kidcot coloring and your 10 year old will probably love Agent P's World Showcase Adventures.

Full disclosure - we love Epcot!

Ask your daughter what she would prefer :) I know she's young but we did that with our DD because it was her day. She said she wanted to have dinner with the princesses and spend her last day in MK. Easy enough for us, she got exactly what she wanted and it's what she enjoyed most :)

I agree with these. I would let my kids decide about last day activities. Or, since you have a birthday girl, and a boy who might be grudgingly joining in the princess meal, maybe the morning belongs to DS, the afternoon DD.

If I were in charge of planning, I would do MK in AM, then lunch in EP, then back to the resort to nap, then night in MK again. My kids weren't wowed by the WS, so we haven't spent much time there. I wasn't wowed by the WS either, so I can give or take it, and they probably pick up on my ambivalence. If you're totally into the WS, obvs. they will be too!
