help me plan my trip!!!!

I will be arriving at the airport at 3:30pm on saturday the 11th with magical express taking us to our resort. I would expect we could get to a park by 5:00pm on saturday on day one of a 7 day 6 night trip. My question is which park could we see the most of after 5:00pm on saturday? Sunday we will definitely be at starwars weekends at MGM. What days are better for each park? This is our first visit to Disney. There are five of us including my 6 year old son who is a huge starwars fan...

You can do a lot MK after 5:00 but with it being Saturday it will be very busy. You could also do EPCOT which like MK is very pretty at night. And if you decide against going to a park there's always Downtown Disney. Nothing like a little shopping to kick off the trip.

I wouldn't hold my breath on getting to a park by 5:00 if you only arrive at 3:30. By the time you get to the hotel from the airport and get through checking in and finding you room it will probably be 5:00 alone unless you don't plan on checking in until after the park. At any rate, you can cross AK off of your list because it closes early. So your only other choices sine you don't want to do MGM, are MK or Epcot. Epcot is easily a two day park so you could go straight to World Showcase and walk around there, have a good dinner, and then catch Illuminations. I think that would get my vote. HTH!

From what I have read here, don't count on arriving at 3:30 and being able to be at a park by 5:00. Plus, your luggage probably won't arrive until after you. If you are correct, then go for it. If not, you can take that first night to explore the resort, or swim, or go to Downtown disney. Unless you have AP's, a visit to a park after 5:00 is IMO a waste of $50.

Out of Epcot/Magic Kingdom? I'd say Epcot but they are both good.

MGM actually has the best night time show though. It's the only one with characters.
