Dd2 is transitioning to later morning naps (around 10:30 to 11.) I think I've come up with a plan of attack for our trip next week.

I think our plan is to arrive at least 30 mins before opening. Then, I will leave with dd2 by 10:30 for nap. Dh & dd will join us when they break for lunch and we'll return the park after we all eat lunch. I really want dd2 to nap in the hotel room for her first nap since that's her main nap. Her second optional nap will the the one that will be in the stroller, if she even takes one.

What can we all do in that first hour or so in the park? Fantasyland? Should we grab some fastpasses?

Thanks!

The parks open at 10am M-Th next week, so your mornings would be VERY short if you left at 10:30. Can you try getting the baby to nap in the stroller in the morning? She may be more adaptable than you think.

We will have MM on Thursday so we'll get into the park by 9. We'll have 1.5 hours, one of which will be MM.

Well, a plan is just a plan! I'm not saying that it won't change based on how dd does next Wednesday. My plan A be flushed down the toilet if she does stroller nap.

Plan B is to let her stroller nap. It's just that when she doesn't get a solid first nap in, it kinda ruins her day and night. We'll all be paying for it at night.

Aah, should've listened to dh about keeping dd2 at home with the grandparents!

I'm just trying to figure out what we can do as a family of four before splitting up for the morning, if all goes well to plan A.

You may have two dilemmas. Your daughter could be excited and get upset when you leave or just fall asleep in the stroller when she wants not when you want.

I agree you should try fantasyland in the morning with her and grab FPs for when you return. Though if you want to stay with DH and DD don't spend it all in fantasy land if they want to do bigger rides. They may not want to wait for bigger rides later when lines are longer.
