Help me plan my DHS day late august

Hi everyone,

We will be traveling to WDW end august with DH and DD8. We will NOT rope drop HS but we have Genie+ and I I’ll buy GoTG. I read several times that stacking for the late afternoon/evening works well in HS, however, I will be there during low crowds day and G+ might not work the same by then.

We also want to book Droids, Savi’s and Sci-fi dinner (for lunch).

We will have another day in DHS to re-rides favorites and attend shows (Indiana Jones, Beauty and the beast).

My question is more when should I book Savi’s and Droid depot (if I have any choice)? Should I aim for 10/11am bookings so we can have a break after Lunch in the resort and go back around 4/5pm?

Or, should we intend to stack G+/LLs and arrive at lunchtime, do Savi’s and Droids early afternoon and then ride our LLs. But I don’t want to have to ride while carrying both the Droids and Sabers

What would you do / plan?

Honestly from what I’m reading I would take any reservation time you can get as they are not easy to get. Please read other posts sharing the challenges people are having getting any kind of reservation.

Also, to clarify from your post, GotG is located in Epcot, not DHS. Unless you have park hopper tickets you will not be able to ride GotG on your DHS day.

Yes, I meant RotR lol (I have park hopper but this is not the plan ).

I have a 60+7, 60+11 and could add a 60+14 DHS day. So I am pretty confident that at least for the 60+11 day, I can have broader choices on day ADR+1.

I think you’ve answered your own question by saying that you don’t want to have to take the droids and lightsabers on the rides? You could still stack, just for after 4/5pm.
