Help me plan an adults-only afternoon and evening at Disney Springs!

My BFF and I are planning an adults-only trip to Disney for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival in September. Our flight lands Thursday at 2:00, and we've decided to explore Disney Springs rather than hit the parks that afternoon and evening. I never spent much time at Downtown Disney, and I haven't been at all since they changed it to Disney Springs. What are some fun "must do's" for our adults visit? Restaurants, bars, shopping, attractions . . .

Thanks!!

We enjoyed the Ganachery. I think the Hanger Bar would be fun. I would also love to try out Morimoto or the Boathouse for dinner. Alas, I was there with the kids (little kids) so we only tried out the Ganachery, the Toy Store, the Lego Store and World of Disney.

My "must do" is to never waste time there again. o_O I'm just not a fan. I'd rather spend that time exploring monorail resorts or relaxing at my own resort before hitting the parks the next day.

Thursday night an awesome band plays at Splitsville, they have outdoor seating for food and a bar area. The band's name is StereoFM and the bassist is super talented (he's my son ;) )
There's a lot of outdoor entertainment all around DS, and plenty of different restaurants and stores to explore

My husband and I really enjoyed sitting outside at Jock Lindsey's. It's fun and relaxing to sit by the water and watch the boats. Boathouse also looks like it has a nice outdoor seating area. We like grabbing a drink from the Margarita place and walking around the shops and bouncing from restaurant bar to restaurant bar grabbing drinks and appetizers. We don't ever really go there with a plan and now that a lot of the work is done it is actually enjoyable to go and spend a few hours there.

All of these suggestions are good. We really enjoyed it two weeks ago. It was so lively and way better than previous visits. There's also a good gelato place near the Boathouse, and don't forget the Star Wars store:darth: There were also a few live outdoor performances that were great. We like to get custom rice krispy treats at Goofy's Candy store.

We kind of feel this way too. While everything seems fun, it was so crowded that I felt stressed. We decided that if we go there again at least while we have a stroller, it will be during the day when it is hopefully not so crowded. DH and I both said that we wished we had just stayed at the resort and watched the movie by the pool rather than venturing out to DS.

If it is adults only as the OP stated, I think you will have fun. I just felt that it was hard to navigate the stroller, and I was stressed because my kids were hungry. It took so long to get food. We ate quick service, but the line was insane. Also, my kids don't love shopping really...they enjoyed the toy store and Lego store, but other than that....it wasn't really their thing.
