In a few months my mother will be visiting us at WDW (we will be locals soon.) She's never been and was anti-disney when I was a kid so this is huge. So I want to make this trip perfect but can only afford one sit down place. Suggestions anybody? Here's the people:

Me - deathly allergic to shellfish
Teen Dd - vegetarian. Would be happy to exist on carbs if I were to let.
Teen son - eats anything
My mom - diabetic with a heart disease.

Nothing Hawaiian. We lived there for years so got our fill then. No seafood even with special requests for my allergy. she is from south Louisiana so that's an every day type thing. No dinner shows, I can't justify the money. Character is fine although just really want good food.

Thanks!

I think you in general will be the biggest problem--lots of restaurants serve some type of seafood and, if made in the same kitchen with other things, there could be a problem. The Morocco Pavilion restaurants at EPCOT possibly? In your situation, you'll definitely need to inform the cooks prior. Morocco will have less seafood and the food at the 3 venus is good. Of course, there will also be plenty there for your vegetarian. I assume your diabetic knows what to avoid on menus in general. Perhaps the Garden Grill in Future World's Land Pavilion if you want a character meal? Someone on these boards should have similar shellfish issues and can advise better than I. I wonder too if there is someone you can call at Disney to find out if there is anything specific you need to do. Just my two cents. Hope you have a great time and that your mother is swayed to the Disney side!

My BIL is deathly allergic to shellfish as well. He had more problems with his nut allergy than he did the shellfish issue. We did Morocco as suggested above along with Mexican, Biergarten, Sanaa, Boma and Be Our Guest.

No seafood issues at any of those restaurants.

*50's Prime Time Cafe at Disney Hollywood. Home cooking place. We love the fried chicken. I THINK they have a vegetable lasagna for the vegetarian in your group.
*Via Napoli at Epcot for PIZZA.
Go online and check out some menus

Another vote for 50's prime time, the food is really good. We like the antics of the servers, but it's not for everyone.
