We have tix for
MVMCP on Sunday Dec 5th. We want to have dinner in MK. So what would you pick out of these two? Family of three 2 adults and a 4yo DD we aren't picky eaters but enjoy good food and atmosphere.
Tony's Town Square or Liberty Tree Tavern? Ressie time is next week!!
Well, Liberty Tree is more 'comfort food'. Roast turkey, carvedbeef, and pork loin. No real 'choices' here. The mac & cheese is really good! There is no special kids meal here, as the food is served family style. Not sure if your DD would like the meat. I have yet to encounter a child that didn't like Mac & Cheese.
Tony's is an Italian restaurant. Chicken Parm, Spaghetti & Meatballs, Shrimp Scampi, Seafood Diavoli, Gnocchi. Standard fare in any Italian place. The kids meal choices here though are pretty good. Cheeseburger Calzone, Grilled Fish, Pasta Primavera, Cheese Ravioli. Nuggets too if you kid isn't too adventurous.
Between the two, my family chooses Liberty Tree. We're very big on meat and taters. (Well, my DW, and DD are. I like the bread stuffing!) Plus, it is an 'all-you-care-to-eat' type of meal. We like that, too, as the kids can sometime be ravenous.
We ate at Tony's in 07, and my wife did not like what she got, but she did choose something outside her comfort zone. We would do Tony's again, and my DW would order something else.
