So Me and my Future Hubby are honeymooning at the World for 5 nights (6ish days) and I need some serious help with restaurants that would make the Honeymoon the most "magical" and delicious. The only restaurants I know we want to eat at currently are Victoria and Alberts (Queen Victoria Room) and Be Our Guest Dinner. How hard would it be to secure a V&A reservation for the first night of our HM and BOG for the 3rd? How is BOG Dinner? I'm assuming V&A is amazing.
We are staying at the Grand Floridian and we were thinking about Citricos but the menu doesn't especially catch my eye. I was also thinking about CRT but I heard the food is awful...
Our 180 Days is in 1 week! Help!

Potentially difficult, because people who are booking before you may snatch those up. I'd look to book V&A near the end.

BOG for the 3rd
Depends on if that's a Christmas Party night. Much harder if it is.

How is BOG Dinner?
Opinions vary. I think it's over-hyped. You're paying to eat in the castle, not really for the food.

You're paying for the Castle and the Princesses, it's not about the food.

I would suggest you consider Artist Point as an option, as well as some of the Epcot restaurants.

That is discouraging. I really wanted to do it our first night. Should this be the first thing I try and book?

Oh no it is our MVMCP night... This is not looking good for us...

We aren't going to be near Wilderness Lodge but we are going to book a Candlelight Processional Package when they are released. I wanted to do Chefs Le France but nothing really catches my eye. (I know I heard good things about Via Napoli [we don't want to eat there] and we liked Teppan Edo [we want to try something new]). How is Spice Roads Table? Any other specific Epcot Recommendations? [Yachtsman Steak House looks amazing, but if we do CPP we don't have time to go over to the Yacht Club to eat there :/]

...and in a large, cafeteria-sized (themed though it may be) dining room in the middle of a theme park. Not very "intimate" but everything at WDW is designed to move large groups of people quickly. Arrive early, mention honeymoon, be saccharinly sweet and love-y dove-y, and make a request for the West Wing.

V&A is a great choice, as would other signatures...California Grille and Jiko. You don't have to hit them all, but there are some options to book at least one.

But there is always the fun of the places that keep the audience involved like Biergarten or (ugh, can't believe I'd ever recommend this) HDDR.

I wouldn't worry about which gets schedule for which night, the whole trip will be memorable. Even the basic snack you never thought twice about in the past will have context once shared on a honeymoon.

And congrats to you both!

AP is pretty easy to get to from Grand Floridian, though. Pop to MK via monorail, take the boat. Boat!

I would say yes, try to book V&A first, but be flexible about changing your night for both that and BOG if you really must do BOG. If you're going to MVMCP, you have more options for BOG, but they will have you eating DURING the party, which many people (including me) find to be a waste of party ticket time.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I don't know if you are flying that day, but I don't like to book ADRs for my day of arrival in case of plane delays. Why not try to make V&A for your last night and save the best for last?

We like Monsieur Paul in Epcot. It is only open for dinner and is quieter than most on site restaurants. The food has always been good and we're looking forward to going again later on this year.

Really it all depends what kind of food you want and if you want

Character meals may seem "kiddy" to some, but you can have some great photos to remember your time there. I'd suggest Tusker House at AK.

I would also suggest an afternoon dessert at Beaches & Cream!

I would say any resort restaurant will be better than any of the restaurants IN the parks.

I'd suggest California Grill. We celebrated our anniversary there this past February and the food plus the view make it an awesome combo! If you want to be more adventurous with your cuisine, I'd highly recommend Sanaa. We we nervous having not tried that cuisine before, but we loved it. Our waiter was wonderful and the restaurant is stunning overlooking one of the savannahs at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

So thanks to advice here I am moving things around. Citric vs California Grill for the first night? Opinions?

Cali Grill is very nice but again you'll run into the first night issue..........not sure about Citricos. I'm a big fan of Cali Grill because the view is awesome. Food is excellent too...........if you like sushi........you'll be happy.

Best wishes on your wedding have a magical vacation

Definitely try Narcooses! So good and lovely water views. Book a table after 8 and watch the fireworks during dinner! My hubby and I loved it!

We love Citricos, California Grill, Narcoossee's for special dinners. For our 20th anniversary, Citricos surprised us by printing up special menus with our names, Mickey and Minnie, and "Happy 20th Anniversary" on them, as a keepsake. It was really sweet. No guarantees, but I think at any of the signature restaurants you'd have a decent chance of a little pixie dust if you note that it's your honeymoon on your ADR's.

Congratulations and have a great trip!

We have been to California grill for the fireworks and agreed the view is awesome! Food is very good too!

Try the wine cellar in Italy for an afternoon drink and snack

Trader SAMs is also great for drinks and snacks

The house of blues usually has a singer outside on their porch and it is a nice night under the night sky

Be our guest is a good venue but the food isn't very good not terrible but there are better options. If you want to see try to get a breakfast or lunch

Honestly we enjoyed a pretzel and a glass of sparkling for the Epcot fireworks

I would recommend Cali Grill over Citrico's. Cali Grill food is good and the view is absolutely breath taking. We've been to Citrico's a few times and it was pretty lackluster on our last visit. I second the Artist Point recommendation - one of the best signatures on property.

In EP, I would recommend Spice Road Table and Monsieur Paul. I would also consider Flying Fish which will be a quick walk or boat ride outside the IG entrance at the Boardwalk. If you go there, try the Ample Hills ice cream - SO GOOD!

In DHS, we really enjoy Hollywood Brown Derby.

In AKL, Tiffins is excellent. Nomad Lounge (which is right next door) has amazing cocktails. We really enjoy Jiko and Sanaa at AKL as well.

i went to Citricos for an Anniversary years ago. They printed our special, personalized menus for us and it was a really lovely touch. My husband was a very simple eater (he liked only pizza and chicken nuggets but he loved to dress up). He loved the food there. I agree, the menu looks a little much (and I'm a daring eater) but we were happy with the food! The atmosphere was nice too. It is such a great memory.

California Grill is amazing! If I can get an ADR there one of the signature restaurants at the GF is a fall back. I always check up to the last minute for the CG though.

Artist's Point is great, the Flying Fish is surprisingly great (I've underestimated it in the past and they just did a refurb I think?), The Yachtsman Steakhouse is another one I've underestimated and is a total return to favorite. If you can't get any of the above, check out these menu's. Maybe they can be a second choice but I'd keep checking up until the day before for CG.

We love BOG, Prime Time, Brown Derby at HS. V & A haven't tried but looks great. Congrats!

Just back to booking once you have all your reservations pick prioritize them and book the hardest one first

Ie Victoria or BOG

BOG breakfast 8am is one of the hardest times to get if that is an option

Also double check the Disney fireworks schedule so you plan to be at California grill before the fireworks. They have a roof balcony you can watch from during your dinner

Good luck!
