Pretty much what it says. I have 3 sets I can choose from.

October 13 - 18, October 20 - 25, October 27 - November 1. I want to attend at least one, ideally two, MNSSHPs since I have never been. I'm flying to Texas on November 1 no matter where I am, so I thought it might be easier to do home --> Orlando --> Texas --> home instead of two full round trip tickets, but that's not super important. I care more about crowds and weather. I've never been in the fall, so really looking forward to the food and wine festival and Halloween party.

Thanks!

That last week will be very busy at the party. I was there around Oct 15th last year and it did not feel crazy busy to me.

IMHO I would choose October 20-25. October 13-18 still too close to the Columbus Day crowds and the October 27-November 1 is over Halloween.

Oct 20-25 hands down. Just my opinion, but I don't think the MNSSHP is something I would want to do twice in one trip. Its a lot of fun, but you really have enough time to do everything the party offers if you get there early. I would use that money toward F&W. You could spend 2-3 days there and not experience all of the different foods.

Any dates that avoid Columbus Day, the weekend before and the day after worked fine for us,

Looks like the 20 - 25 will be the best choice! Thanks for your input, everyone! I didn't think of Columbus Day because my work doesn't have off, but that's definitely something to avoid.

I love the Christmas party and tend to do it twice in one trip, which is why I thought I might feel the same way about the Halloween party. I love things like parades and fireworks, and I might want to do meet and greets with special characters. How much do you think I could accomplish in one party night since I know so many people line up super early for characters and such? I'm hoping for at least 2 weekdays (Mon and Tues) of F&W and I could enjoy that before hopping over to a party. Do you think that makes sense?

I would check out the crowd levels and pick for short lines.

To attend a party, I'd go Oct 20 - 25...BUT for overall crowds, I'd go Oct 27 - Nov 1.

If you really want to hit a lot of the character meet and greets 2 nights would probably needed. This past year, we got in the gate at 4:30 and were able to make all the candy stops, watch the parade, fireworks, meet 3-4 characters, and rode 4-5 rides. Some of those character lines can get really long though. One thing I have noticed in my experiences, are the week nights are way less crowded, so your better off going during the week. If you plan on doing F&W during the day and MNSSHP at night I think that would be a good plan! You will LOVE the Halloween Party. Its our favorite by far.

I chose the 20th - we go in October a lot and that's the week I would choose if we weren't at the mercy of the school systems. The first few weeks have a ton of Fall Breaks and any holiday draws a crowd, so I would avoid Halloween week.

Didn't go to Disney last year during that time as October for us is for Universal to do Halloween Horror Nights..but we went to universal on Halloween day and it was empty. Disney couldn't have been too much different.
