Backround Info:
We are going for a 10 day visit March 20-30, we like to hop, my kids are not strong swimmers but thought they might like to go to TL. I also think they would like to try DQ. There is a possibility we could go on our next trip with in the 12 month window, but we can only go around school breaks, and we usually go for a week. Please select an option. Thanks

I would suggest you go to the pass price information area on Debbie's board. It gives all the pricing information for every combination possible.

My personal thought is if you will be using ten days this trip and will be going on a second trip within 12 months that you should get Annual (but not Premium) Passes. Note that with APs you can also get a DDE card good for 12 months that will give you a 20% discount on food and beverages at almost all table service and buffet restaurants (Japan excluded) and the food courts in the Value resorts. It also will allow other discounts.

If you do not expect to return, then get the 10-day hoppers with plus options but not the no expire.

If you'll definitely be going back within 12 months, then go for APs for everyone. This would give you the luxury of spending each of the 10 days in the parks during your next trip without worrying about keeping some days for the following trip.

You could use the APs to get a room discount if you haven't gotten one already and if you're staying onsite. If you're offsite, you get free parking ($8/day, a savings of $80 for your 10-day trip).

Purchase your DQ passes separately. Ticketmania has a great price ($24/adult, $20/child) and it's even less if you're a MouseSavers Newsletter subscriber.

Use your APs for discounts on your waterpark tickets. You would $4 off the gate price ($36.21) for adults and $3 off the child's price ($29.82).

Or for $548.49/$466.49 (adult/child), you could get a PAP, which would include unlimited visits to DQ and the waterparks.

Thanks for starting to reply...I was composing a poll, and this got posted without the poll information....So please see my poll :) I feel like I am shreading hairs with my choices...I don't feel like one is a complete YES! unless I choose to go again with in the year.

Feel free to ignore the rest of this thread. :cool1:

Canwegosoon - I'm in the same boat.

Going in April for 10 days (1 to SW). Probably taking a 5 day trip in December. Wondering if AP's are the way to go.

It seems that the respondents to your thread are swaying towards, AP's!

I think I am too.

Please post with your decision. :goodvibes

I'm right there with you, too. We are going for 8 days(including 2 days travel) this time, and will HOPEFULLY go back atleast once in the next year. We have considered the 10 day hopper w/ options no exp. I keep leaning towards the PAP b/c I feel like if we have the PAP, we might go back more when we dont have the expense of the tickets. It is a 10 hour drive for us, and DH only gets 2 weeks vacation a year-one of which he uses to hunt for a week. He does take long weekends-5 days. I'm torn b/c I'm not sure that the PAP benefits are worth the price. I'm confusing myself everytime I try to think about it lol.

Since you will be on this trip for 10 days, i say go with the AP/PAP.
