This one was a tough one for me. My kids really loved SSR and AKV. What I took into consideration was if the parks were too busy where would I want to spend my time. My kids love the Community Hall at AKV and I did too. The pool at Kidani has just perfect for them as well. I liked that that Kidani was the first stop for the busses. I don't like the bus service at SSR and they weren't crazy about the Community Hall there either so that's how I ended up choosing AKV

I do like the idea of other things to do if he pa rks are too crazy.

I put down standard for everything - I didn't put down the units when I was writing down how many points they would be. Good to know that OKW and SSR are all the same views.

If BWV are impossible to get at 7 months i think I'll be going for AKV. my kids love the Community Hall at BLT. That and the pools are always the most important. Lol

Thanks all.

I put BWV Standard view as "7 mos switch" or "wait list" choice; I read what you said about saving points but honestly, I think you need to book at BLT at 11 month window for however many nights you can manage to get with 300 points and then at 7 months switch to another resort or waitlist. If it were me I would not take the chance, I'd want to have something booked at 11mos.

Good luck :)

I voted for AKV standard. It's hard to believe you could get 3 bathrooms and the beautiful Kidani resort for the lowest number of points.

:thumbsup2

I would rent off my BLT points and then rent points from someone to either get BW or Treehouses.

I voted for AKV as we love it and with a standard view you will save loads of points. We had a standard view a kidani last year and it was fine. It had a partial view of the pool.

I would go with BWV simply because it is close to 2 parks. But I no standard rooms are hard to come by. If you have never stayed at any of these resorts you can't go wrong. They all have a lot to offer and I always feel it is like a different vacation each time you try a different one. AKV is great for kids too. My grand kids liked it there and it is really hard for me to get them to stay any where but Beach Club.

I vote for the tree houses if you can snag one. We just stayed in one over spring break and it is perfect for a family of 6. So nice to be able to separate them out for bed at night. Also, great to not have to worry so. Uch about the noise because it is a stand alone unit. I had one for a week at the 10 month window and then switched our last 3 nights for BCV, so one may become available if you call right at your 7 mo window. Otherwise I would go with OKW for their size - the living room/kitchen are are just so much bigger.

OKW...rooms are the largest! Boat to DD. Great pool, activities and cast members.

I would stay at BWV for the location, but availability could be an issue. My next choice would probably be SSR. I would be happy with any of them:goodvibes.

I went for AKV standard. Lower points, you can still go see the animals. Also you could waitlist for a value room to save even more points.
I also liked the TreeHouse option, but at 7 months that's most likely a long shot.

Convenience of BWV location can't be beat (compared to your other choices listed.) I wouldn't stay at AKV unless it was Savannah view--even then, I prefer to stay a short time (and then hop to another resort) because I like to limit our bus time.

I just voted for AK standard because of the ages of your kids - they should love the animals and the pools are great. In reality, you're likely to get SSR or OKW at 7 months but you can't go wrong with any of them.
