Based on our dates, we have two choices for itinerary. Either:

1) MK, EP, break, HS
or
2) MK, HS, break, EP

Choice 1 follows easywdw park recommendations in that we avoid the "to be avoided" parks. However, I'm worried that back to back MK and EP days will be too much for my fam. We are staying off prop and don't like to take midday hotel breaks from MK or EP.

Choice 2 is better for my fam because I don't mind taking a midday break from HS, which makes it better to follow MK. However our EP is not recommended by easywdw because of evening EMH, which we can't take advantage of.

Which would you do?

What dates are you going?

I was just about to edit my post to give some more info. Sep 1-4. We are going the first week of Sept. On that last day of our trip (sep 4) Touring Plans has a crowd level 2 for EP. Easywdw has an overall crowd level of 3 that day. We would be at RD that day in either park.

OK, thanks. The good news is you'll be there during one of the slowest weeks of the year--mostly 1s, with some 2s thrown in. So I'd take all the "recommended parks/parks to avoid" stuff with a grain of salt. They're all good that time of year. I'd do what you think works best for your family.

It sounds like Option 2 works best for your family. I would not worry about Epcot's evening EMH the last night, because it's a relatively very slow period, and you will be going at rope drop. In the morning, I don't think crowds will be bad at all for doing rides in Future World multiple times with FP. I would expect the crowds to build through the afternoon, but if you do FW rides in the morning, you'll be in the countries in the afternoon.

At that time of the year, I wouldn't worry too much about the parks to avoid / best parks. Go with option 2 that suits your family best.
