If you weren't set on the dining plan, I would pick Swan or Dolphin with the easy access to Epcot and DHS. I would go for either a preferred at CBR or stay at POFQ.

I say the Swan. It's a great location. You can take advantage of the discount. You get a nice boat ride to Epcot too.

The only mods we've stayed at are POR and CBR. They are both lovely and we've enjoyed both of them, but I wouldn't recommend them for your stay. Lots of walking at both.

I have to agree with the posters who suggested Swan and Dolphin. The Boardwalk location is wonderful and the boat service is so peaceful - we've never stayed at the Boardwalk, but go for dinner every trip and always take the water launch from HS. From either the Swan or Dolphin you can walk easily to Boardwalk, or take the water launch again. CSR and Swan and Dolphin seem to me to be excellent resorts to stay at with a party of adults (and since we're always with kids, we have yet to stay at either). All three offer quen beds - big plus!

Also the cot option - $15 per night of your stay was the price when we were at CBR last month.

And I am rather surprised at the positive response for CBR - from what I understood it was the least-liked Disney-owned mod. It honestly wasn't really even on my radar. I guess I will have to look at that hotel's FAQ, too!

You have all been super-helpful. Thank you!!! :woohoo:

CBR is my favorite Mod. I love the tropical theming. I hope to stay there again when we finally return next year. They just refurbished their pool, so I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I would pick the Swan or Dolphin. Heavenly beds, location and nice rooms.

I voted for POFQ. It is a small, beautiful resort with alot to offer! No building is very far from anything in the resort, so that is a plus. It also has the boat to DTD, which none of the other mods have. Yes, CSR does have queen beds, but CSR also has only 1 sink in the bathroom, and for 3 ladies getting dressed in the morning, I think having 2 would be very important! The buses are excellent, and POFQ is first on and off the bus when it shares with POR. Alot of people have reported recently that they didn't share buses with POR, so that makes it even better.

If you weren't interested inthe DP, I would have possibly voted for S/D. After all, it is a deluxe, and the location can't be beat. I don't know the bathroom layout at S/D, though, and I still think having 2 sinks for 3 ladies is crucial. :rotfl2: A no-brainer for me!

I swear you said somehting about free dining so that omits Swan & Dolphin right from the start.

I think I'd pick CSR for 3 adults. For my family, it was a toss up b/t that and CBR. We chose CBR b/c of the pool & having 2 young kids.

Please highly consider the Swan or Dolphin. Both can easily fit a cot between the bed and the window. The rooms are at least 40 to 60 feet larger than any WDW moderate. An extra 4 to 6 feet in the length and width of the room will make a difference with 3 adults.

We had a king room at the Swan, with a sofa. The sofa was a hide a bed unit, which our daughter slept in. It was probably a twin size. If two of you do not mind sleeping together in the king, that would accommodate all 3 of you. Or, get two queen beds, if the sisters will share--they are heavenly!
