Help me pick dates!!!

Ok, we cant get the ADR's we wanted for September because we waited to long. So I need some help. We are experts at September planning, but now I am not sure about crowds elsewhere. We have an autistic son, so need low crowds. We are planning our first POLY, (and first deluxe) trip. I cant get the ADR's for September, or the first few weeks of October that I want. So tell me when is the BEST week based on crowd levels to book. I know there are sporting/cheer events, and others that bring in large crowds, and dont want to be one of those people that book one of those weeks, ADR's and all, and then find out its a BAD week. I you were to book based on crowds alone, which weeks would you consider????HELP

I would do: The week before or after Thanksgiving week (Not Thanksgiving week itself). The first week of Dec. (I believe the second week of Dec is Football and cheerleader week).

You could try the crowd calendars and recommended weeks over at easywdw.com

Or you could book your trip for September and keep trying for those ADR's.

Disney has done a great job at filling up the slow weeks. We used to go in early December, but last time (2010) it was packed and the weather was FREEZING. The lowest crowds we've encountered have been right after Labor Day. I wouldn't move my trip because of ADR availability, but then again, we will eat anywhere whereas your son may only eat at certain places.

Week before Thanksgiving. Not too crowded...very manageable. Great weather, cool in mornings and perfect in the daytime. All the Christmas stuff up in the parks.
